The special place in hell reserved for Sarah Palin...

I said eyes clown, not eye. I realize now I might have been wrong to assume what I said in the first place as shit may be running out of your ears before rising to the level of your eyes. Now sneak off.

Just don't get him drunk.....

It was a setup, and the media, among others, took the bait. Its classic, probably enhanced her popularity.

You're probably right that it was a setup, and it only increases her popularity for those who don't care about things like "issues".

OK, if you think it makes a difference we can talk about context.

In what context did Albright threaten that women who didn't help her would go to hell ?

I believe the context in which Madeline Albright made her original statement was in discussing her efforts to have rape declared a weapon of war. She was surprised and angered at other women who refused to acknowledge that the systematic rape of women as a military tactic constituted a crime against humanity.

Are you really saying that women who refuse to vote for Sarah Palin are the same as women who refuse to consider mass rape a war crime? I wouldn't be surprised if Sarah Palin thinks so, given her unwillingness to help women in her own community who had been raped. And THAT is what I find embarrassing.

Albright was a token in a cabinet designed to look like America; remember Ron Brown, Loriel, selling technology to the Chinese over the howls of the State Department, OH! Gawd, I cannot wait to see the Hillarity under a "chocolate" administration based upon the concepts of fairness and Joe Six-Pak first...

He's gonna make Jimmy Carter out to be a Saint because while Jimmy leaned towards that gentle soft Christian Communism, Barack leans towards Marx's hard Communism...

Jimmy sowed the ACORN, now we see his Oak rise!

Your associations are REALLY getting loose, AJ. Almost to the point of being nonsequiturs, or sounding like Jack Van Impe. You might want to get that checked.

Not even an adequate attempt. You still haven't addressed Albright's comments about Palin's use of the quote--which, by the way, she did not make to slam Albright.

You clearly have context and interpretation problems--or you've merely dug yourself a hole you can't get out of. Which is it?

Oh, and btw, it was Imelda Marcos.

Albright's comments about Sarah's use of the quote are irrelevant. Albright's a Democrat politico who'll do and say whatever Obama's handlers tell her to.

Again I'm not going to respond to your silly personal attacks. You're obviously upset because your partisan loyalties have put you in the unenviable position of having to defend Albrights sexist, bigoted bullshit.

Oh there are stupider women than her. If all of them suddenly became just like her then it would be a step up.
Not to take away from the parade of stupid that is Sarah Palin though.

Sarah Palin isn't stupid. She's not intelligent, but she is cunning and cut throat. She is also hateful. Not to mention racist.

The only silver lining is that she is hastening the destruction of brand Republican. She's helping pull the curtain aside and showing the ugly truth, and the cheering crowds who gather to hear her now are more like mobs than decent people. It's eye opening and unforgettable.

The context is absolutely relevant. And moreover, no one is relying on Albright's characterization of the context, it's a matter of historical fact. Moreover, why is it sexist and bigoted to believe that women have an obligation to defend other women against abuse by men?

I honestly have never felt embarrassed to be a woman before. Sure, there have been women (Melanie Griffith on any talk show comes to mind) that make me cringe because they are such stereotypes. Sure, I have lived in cultures in which being a woman made you a second class citizen. But I've always thought hey, it was their problem, not mine.

Until today.

Oh for fucks sake. Read a real newspaper instead of the blowjob post.

You will not take the main issue head on.

Sarah Palin is merely being treated like yet another bitch ho in a black man's way.

I've tried saying it gently, but it seems the big gansta nigga rappa has become the face of the party.

Face down ass up, that's the way we like to fuck,
You're ugly, you're ugly, put a veil on,
You're so fugly...

Women should remain silent and in their place as second-class citizens.

Hillary and Geraldine did. They didn't leave their party, they just shut up and took it.

You should too...

This is man-talk time. When we want an intern, we'll wave at you.

I think you must mean Ilsa Koch. Elsa Koch was Albert Einstein's second wife. Moreover, the claim that Ilsa Koch made lampshades out of human skin was discredited at her war crimes trial. That doesn't make her a nice person, but urban legends are poor support for an argument.

I bow to your superior knowledge of Albright's feminist icons.

Moreover, you continue to confuse the terms "help" and "support". To help someone is to provide them with assistance. Madeline Albright was saying that it's wrong for women to stand by and allow other women to be abused.

I see. So the Democrat's excuse is that what Albright REALLY meant was that women who allow abuse to go on should be punished more harshly than men.

Even if we buy that (and of course we will because Democrats never lie) would you care to explain how, exactly, it isn't still sexist, bigoted bullshit ?

I mean, one rule for women and another for men seems pretty Saudi to me.

That's a world away from "you're going to hell if you don't vote for me because, after all, I have a vagina." I don't support Sarah Palin at all, but I'd be willing to help her escape an abusive situation.

Watch the clip. Sarah was QUOTING Albright's bullshit in an attempt to slap her down and to expose the double standards the media elite use.

Given the hypocritical hysteria her quoting of Albright has whipped up here, I'd say she managed both perfectly.

Because EVERYBODY has an obligation to defend women against abuse by men.

Not just women.

I've heard enough ignorance from you. Buh bye.

They were cheering because they liked Albright getting slapped down. I mean, it isn't as though Sarah herself would stoop to Albright's sexist depths.

Anyway, I'm glad that we've dropped this 'out of context' BS and that you now admit that Albright was being nasty, insulting and sexist.

Leading on from that, why do you think that the media elite (or the thread starter, for that matter) weren't bothered when Albright made the comment, but pretended outrage when Sarah merely QUOTED her as making it ?
I don't buy any part of your post. You're going to have to put up some analysis to back it up.
