Endless Ends

Enny, ok, you missed the Lynids . . . but more celestial highlights await . . .

April’s full moon rises on April 23 at 7:49 p.m. ET and will appear full for about three days.

"With the full Pink Moon in Scorpio drawing near on April 23, 2024, it heralds the arrival of potent cosmic energies. Certain zodiac signs are poised to undergo notable life changes as the Pink Moon illuminates the sky, encouraging introspection and transformation" . . . "It is believed to represent rebirth, growth, and renewal."

"Scorpio full moons are especially known for their fervor and intensity"

"Expect impulsive outbursts, emotional upheavals and sudden changes of the mind and heart. Pluto aims to reconstruct systems and make them more robust after they’re rebuilt, so we may witness many things falling apart, only to be reassembled in a more precise way."

Oddity.

I've always been idly curious as to the point of two spellings for enquiry and inquiry. Turns out the latter is use for a more formal questioning and the former for general information seeking.

Huh.

Which zodiac signs?

#enquiringminds
"The Full Pink Moon in Scorpio brings intense emotions and deep connections for Aries and Taurus, while Gemini focuses on tasks and health. Cancer experiences passion and joy, emphasizing creative activities and relationships."

Your sign?

"A full moon in your 11th house lights up your sector of friendships and associations, dear Capricorn, and you may feel dissonance in how you connect with others. Perhaps you’ve become out of touch with yourself or your authenticity feels stifled in the company of others. As a result, you could be looking to weed out people from your social circle. But take a pause first. What is at the root of disconnection? For some, this could be linked to values; perhaps, your value system no longer aligns with a friend or acquaintance. For others, this could point to issues with self-worth that are impacting you from freely expressing your true self."

They cut hay day before yesterday in the field next door with the hay-cutty thing!

Yesterday they fluffed it with the fluffy machine.

This morning, it was rowed up with the rowy machine, and now they're baling into ton bales with the baling thingy.

Those are all the correct technical terms.

#swears

:p

-Dang it! The branch that came down is too big for the baby electric chainsaw. Which means I must wrestle with the big gas chainsaw myself. Or ask for help.

*weighs options*

*doesn't like options*

-Also, I am afraid of fire. 😬

#new phobias

-Back to work! I just came in to cool off. 🫠

*zooom*

Son of a biscuit.

Why must trying to do the right thing be so endlessly tiring? Could it be that it's the wrong thing in disguise?

That was a rhetorical question.

I think I'm overly tired. 🤣

*puts self to bed*

Chainsaw.

1) Self? It's so . . . heavy. I just don't trust myself. 😬

2) Help? Completely impractical to ask family. Half a day's drive, round trip, for, like 30-45 minutes of work.

3) Neighbors? Two, within ten miles. One - rarely in town, and at least eighty (At least!). Two - middle-aged, I think. (Never actually seen.)

Considering I just finished The Final Girl Support Group, skipping the neighbor. Stranger? With a chainsaw? Nope. Nope, nope, nope. :p

AND - went back to the tree fall today and found another 25 foot branch, swaying in the gentle breeze. *jetted*

However, swinging branch does mean that once I coerce a family member out here they can help me down it with a rope, which, combined with the resulting extra chainsaw work, will probably be closer to 3 hours of work - less impractical.

Problem solved. :p

In the meantime, since I can't hack a path thought the fallen tree, starting on the wrong side of future trail. This entails hacking my way 40 feet of dense ... stuff, whilst avoiding trees.

Which is . . . not as easy as it sounds.

*thud*

One more day! Then I can rest. 🕶️

One. More. Day.

Alternative solution ? Next time a circus comes to the nearest large city, see if you can rent an elephant for a day. It could trample the pathway through the brush, and pull large limbs down with its trunk. Or call these folks (maybe they can be coerced to provide one outside the DFW area): https://www.b3texas.com/elephant-rental-dallas-fort-worth-texas

Food for thought . . .

This ^^^ is why they should sell grenades at Home Depot.
I don’t know if it would work, but it would make the work much more enjoyable.
Huh.

*wonders if grenades would be easier to deal with than large chainsaws*

I now want an elephant. :p

Today Things:

-I love seeing the field filled with ton bales.

-The lure of dark chocolate was the only thing that got me out of bed this morning.

-Not all snakes one meets while traversing a barely cleared trail are copperheads.

Only the ones that stare you down.

STARE YOU DOWN.

*thunk*

(I only worked five hours today. My body refused to do more. I am such a slacker. 😞)

I cleared to a fork. One way looks easy, but won’t take me where I want to go.

The other is . . . dense. I can see the big hanging branch in the distance, but the visible (barely) ingress veers a little off to the right, where I happen to know is a sizable ravine.

If I try to work my that direction, blind, there’s every chance I fall into the ravine.

While I fully expect my end to be ignominious, impaling myself on loppers in a fall is not the way I want to exit this world.

Landing in a copperhead nest wouldn’t make me happy, either.

It would definitely be one of the two, because that is just how klutzy I roll. :p

Oh! Got distracted by my hypothetical end. 🤣

Trail. Waiting to do the rest once the chainsaw work is done and there’s a more visible path.

So, let the trail think it has emerged victorious.

For now. . . .

#seagoatsnevergiveup

:p

*toodles off in search of sustenance and bad movies*

Today.

Today. I did a hair mask.

That's it. :p

Well, I might do some laundry in a bit.. All my work clothes are dis-gust-ing. 😬

I'm loving this early spring! The bluebirds, wrens, and barn swallows are all clutching.

The bluebirds are on their second round! *girl squeal*

* * *

I need a spa wellness retreat.

Something luxurious.

Like a month.

Stat. 🕶️

What on earth is the purpose of such? Protection in the thicket?
