There are very few women here of any persuasion whose main niche on Lit is talking politics. Most of those who stick around a while but also have noticeable political views have other things they like to talk about as well.

I guess there's also the stereotype — not 100% accurate, but there's definitely something to it — that conservative women are less likely to hang out on a porn board.

I remember a chick named Jen who used to get onto me all the time when I used to post here. I don't remember her exact name but it was Jen or Jenny something.

She basically filled the same role as either beew or bellisaurus, so she may be one or more of them, but I don't pay super close attention so take that with a grain of salt.

Interestingly most of the conservative women I know in real life, and a lot of the men, hate the internet as like, a concept. It's a really weird attitude but it is one I noticed. It's partially a generational thing, a "look at these kids always on their phones" type of deal. If my experience is common, and it may not be, that might have something to do with it.

I can totally see this. Like, not to sound sexist, but guys the way we talk on here is legit no way to talk to a lady. ESPECIALLY an older lady, and conservatives tend to be older. So we're meeting at a crossroads of "mind your manners because a girl might see" and "respect your elders" and doing neither.
