Come on. You've been stuck in the same meetings i have. i know You've thought about it. How are you going to feel if this pandemic ends and you DIDN'T play strip poker online with a bunch of LIT freaks? 5 responses (preferably at least one woman) and i'll set it up. Vote for Zoom or Skype or Hangouts. Poker will be at a common (free) site. Chip values or clothes will be determined by the dealer, but gameplay will be free.

Poker can be played on pokerstars

I would suggest creating a new profile if it's a place you visit often..unless you're an exhibitionist and OK with sharing that with your poker buddies

The camming end will have to be done separately. Skype or Zoom or Hangouts.

If you get a chance, reply with your preference. Scheduling is going to be interesting, but i think if we can pull this off (pun intended) we'll get a lot of repeat players!

Rules?

I thought of a few more things to iron out. Honestly, if there are decisions to be made, the deciding votes will go to the women at the table

But I'd love to hear thoughts...

Generally, strip poker game begins with introductions and an explanation of the rules. It helps if everybody has the same number of items of clothing, but a chip bonus can be offered to those who start out with less.

Then gameplay moves as it normally would with "rebuys" or (getting more chips) involving the loss of an item of clothing. Outerwear is generally shed first and is worth less. Values will depend on the total chip pool, which will be determined by the number of players.

If we're to play a winner take all Texas Holdem tournament, then blinds (or ante) will go up at regular intervals making your panties (or briefs) worth less over time.

If all of this makes sense so far, my questions are:

- faces or no faces? Is it OK to leave it up to the individual, or does it add something if we have a real meet and greet first? My vote is that we'll get more players if we leave it up to them.

- alternate betting / side bets? Can players be encouraged to strip early or (ahem) perform for chips, or should it be poker only?

- What does / should the winner get?


I want this to be a safe and fun game for everyone, so tell me how I can make that happen for you and I will do my best.

Update

OK, so far we have one vote for Skype, One for Zoom and one for Hangouts.

I voted Hangouts just because it's free and allows multiple users on a video call. I figured anyone could easily create a new Google profile just for Hangouts, but honestly I haven't used it for more than one-on one video chat.

The benefit to Zoom is that I can just send a link to anyone, and most people seem to be able to use it on almost any device. The downside is that i'd have to pay for a premium membership.

As for other votes, we have one so far for everyone needing to show faces and a full body to join. I could go either way on this, but I see the point. Comment either way in this thread if you'd like.

So...this weekend i'm going to set up a Pokerstars room and see how that goes. As organizer, i think it will give me some latitude on setting up a tournament approving rebuys. This will also (i hope) give me a chance to pause the tournament for everyone who needs to shed some clothing to get back in while we all watch / hoot / potentially make side bets.

I'll post here when the room is up and provide a link. Based on the number of people who join there, i will post another poll for times and dates for a tournament.

I can think of a bunch of ways to make this something that lasts. Something that's self directed, where any two (or more) people could log on and bet their asses off whenever they were so inclined (drunk / horny enough).

In the meantime, i'm looking forward to the first tournament!

Found a site...need a time

So I found a site (pokernow******) where it looks like we can play in a browser without creating profiles. I can post a link to the game i created now, but i'm not sure it will be any good after i close the browser. I think we just need to pick a time and a camming app and we're ready to play!


I'm going to post another poll for times, but I would also like to suggest ********** for striping. If we all chose the same password here, we can set up a private session that's free. Let me know what you all think.

Sounds like an interesting concept but what happens if only guys show up which is probably most likely? I would think keeping the game as simple as possible would be best with just 5 card draw poker, nothing wild, no blinds, no bluffing.

Chillhead, thanks for noticing that pokernow has video chat! I've only played on the site once and didn't even notice. Having an all in one solution should make this really easy.

As for who s going to show up, I've gotten almost as many PMs from women as men, and there does seem to be some genuine interest.

I'll be creating a room at the times i've listed to see if anyone shows up.

If no one does, no harm. If you're there and want to play - clothed or not at first or until we have a quorum - I say we give it a shot and see if we can make it a recurring thing.
