some guidelines

First of all..for those unfamiliar with Dawn of the Dead..here are some universe rules

1) Zombies are bad, mmmkay?

2) Zombies dont like fire..tend to stay way..they go up like tissues papers

3) They're also hard to kill... only by chopping of their head, crushing their skull , shooting them in the head, or burning them, can they die.

4) These zombies can hustle.. unless they are impeded by injury they move as fast as everyone else does..and they dont get tired.. just watch 28 days later or the remake of Dawn of The Dead ( on dvd september 28th..plug plug) to see what I mean.

5) Being bitten by a zombie makes you one.. you get very sick for several hours.. die..and a few hours later.. you're a new zombie.

6) They feed on the flesh of the living... so if a eat a body up, they dont become a zombie...but they human chow.

7) Animals are not affected by the zombie plague

8) You do not talk about fight club

I imagine they'd start slowing down as rigor began to kick in, but if they munch on flesh their strength returns.

As for Testament Mall...

Its "T" shaped.. the bottom part of the "T" is the main entrance and it faces south.

The top part of the "T" is flanked on either side my big shopping stores..the eastern is "FoodSuperWarehouse"..the western side of the top "T" is flanked by "The Fun Zone".. a multifloor family and rec centre with arcade,swimming pool,kids play area, etc.

The crossing of the "T" is a multifloor food court with a huge fountain set in the middle

The mall is roughly 3 stories..with around 200 shops..including a gun store, liquor store, etc..

Also..my character is SWAT but I'm not exactly completely gun savy, so any info and corrections would be great

Grail..would much rather you play human..as the zombies are..well..zombies. And once the main characters are firmly secure in the mall..the zombies will take a back seat for a while

My char. is Alex, 20 years old.

Hes 6'4" and skinny biuld with spikey blonde hair, somewhat muscular. Hes in good enough shape and is used to running from cops. Hes your everyday hooligan pot head.

He saw shit going down and people dying and since he was already starting trouble in the mall figured he might as well head for the ammo store and bunker down there.

Character for Dawn of the Dead

Name: Trevor McGinnes
Age: 19 Height: 5'11" Weight:180 pounds Build: Toned/Atlethic
Eyes: Green Hair: Brown [Military Crew Cut]
Clothing: Green Camo pants with many pockets, black army combat boots, white shirt topped ripped, Tactical Vest with the letters USMC [United States Marine Corp.] emblazoned on the front: Includes polyfiber bullet proof vest with ammo pockets and combat knife sheath sown into the left front shoulder, elbow pads and knee pads. M.A.S.H. side pack, large russack on back.

Carrying: A Colt .45 [custom gunsmithed] for military personal [words: Col. McGinnes etched onto the hilt] in sheath at his belt. Ammo for it in a few ammo pockets on vest and in M.A.S.H. pack [13 clips, 15 rounds each]. Carrying in hands an assault rifle with 3 round burst effect, single shot grenade laucher attached to underside of barrel. Ammo for rifle in backpack [4 extended magazines 50 rounds each. Grenade rounds: 2 Explosive rounds. 4 shotgun effect rounds, one flash bang round around a bandolier on his chest]. Hand and a half sword in leather sheath on back [Called so for the hilt being able to hold a hand and a half. 3 and a half feet long blade crusted with blood] tied to his back taken from sword fanatic neighbor. Limited medical supplies [I.E. bandages, gauze and antiseptic] in M.A.S.H. pack, canteen at side, water purifyer with 7 purifer tubes left, rations [5] left in backpack and a combat knife in sheath.

History: After losing his mother at the age of 4 to cancer, Col. Donoven McGinnes raised his son on Fort Baxter Marine base. Raising his son the only way he knew how by himself, he trained trevor in survivial tactics and other military training up to age 18. Disceplined, hardworking and loyal, Trevor completed his basic training with flying colors thanks to his father's strict, yet effecient training for most of his life. Had just become a Private when all hell broke loose... literally. Fort Baxter had held out for a short while, but the undead, both from the outside and from within cause of the bitten injured soon overwealmed the base. Col. McGinnes supplied his son with the weapons [save for the sword, which he took off his fallen neighbor who was an avid sword collector] and sent him into the sewer system to survive by any means neccessary with a group of other survivors. However before this could be completed, the last barricade fell, and Trevor is the only survivor, his father sealing the sewer hatch to protect his son, smiling at his offspring as he ghouls bore down on him. It was the last image Trevor would hold of his dear father. Now, after traveling miles and miles for sometime [how long he has no clue] he consults his map and notices that a nearby mall could provide him with provisions to continue his trek... if he can manage the run into it without succumbing to the same fate that befell his fellow soldiers and father.
