It is the large town of Wellington, since the sudden outbreak of a reanimating corpse disease over a year ago has the entire town been trying to survive the outbreak. The entire region is quarantined, the few people who escapes are later heard reported of as killed by the quarantine forces around the town. The people inside the undead infested town has to survive by the wits as the large groups of zombies crawl around the town like an endless swarm of vermin.
The town is not the only town to have a zombie outbreak, but as the government learned has nuclear bombs little effects on the zombies since the town known as Themecha was nuclear bombed during a zombie outbreak. While the government claim to have control so does the people know that the people in control haven't been able to do anything but contain the situation. President Obama attempted to send aid to the people in the infected areas but it ended up with a zombie outbreak in Washington DC that ended with the White House being locked down as military forces mowed down the corpses.
America is not the only country with this problem but the outbreaks are more frequent and serious here as there are few people willing to follow a government willing to bomb millions of people to destroy the zombies. But back to the town of Wellington.
In one of the hospitals on the outskirts of the town laid a man in a deep coma, the people of the hospital had left him there months ago but he had survived on the IV left in his body. Then one early summer morning he woke up, his body very filthy and lacking body mass form the months of unconsciousness he had been through, it was a miracle he had survived. Dressed in nothing but a patient garb he began to gather what few supplies he could, he had a deep amnesia and couldn't even remember his own name, only flashes of images and the likes.
Looking for a way to the city he encounters a back of zombies he dispatches with a kukri blade he found amongst a few personal belongings in the room he woke up in but nothing more. So far he was about a day's march from the city and had seen a lot of warning signs of not moving too far from the town at the threat of death. As he stumbles forward, unsure of the future, he keeps the kukri blade on his belt ready along with the hand gun he had found beneath a desk in the hospital security guard room.
OOC: This story will be written in First Point of View, I want to try something new, the story is about a pair, or more, of survivors meeting in the city and attempting to survive the zombies crawling the city while trying to find a safe way out. This story will contain pregnancy and a lot of gore as it contains zombies. I am looking for a female writer to play the female, or females, who travels with the amnesiac survivor who has a knack for surviving and fall.
