This is my little piece of the forum…I may post something daily or weekly or it could go as long as a month. These are my thoughts on current and past events. They are my opinions and like assholes, everyone has one. You will not dissuade me from these opinions as they have been set in a foundation of stone. So don’t try. If you would like to add you random thoughts then please do so. I will not criticize nor try to sway your belief. I just needed a place to say my piece in peace.

If you call me names, I will call you names right back. You ridicule me, I will ridicule you. You ignore me, how will I know?

Zeb’s Random Stuff…

Al Frankin is a whiny little twit that is nothing but a joke. ‘nuff said.

Manmade Global Warming/Climate Change is a hoax. It’s a way to take money from the evil rich and give it to someone else “less fortunate”. To everyone in the world, everyone that lives in the US are the ‘evil’ rich. Even those people who live at or below the poverty level in the US have a higher standard of living than the average European.

Barak H Obama is a liar. He will continue to lie to the population until they stand up and shout ‘NO MORE LIES’, which won’t happen anytime soon. And everyone thought Bush was a liar, he was a piker compared to Obama.

Cap & Trade(Tax) another hoax thought up by the Climate change bozo’s.

Government Healthcare, when was the last time the government did anything right?

Universal Healthcare might be worth exploring as long as government has nothing to do with its planning or administration. But that won’t happen.

Choice should not be limited by the government.

Liberty should not be limited by the government.

Freedom should not be limited by the government.

Security from foreign invaders should be provided by the federal government.

A well maintained infrastructure should be provided by the federal government.

Other than the two above I can’t think of anything else the federal government should do except regulate intrastate commerce. Nope I was wrong; there are only the two things the federal government should do.

Local government (state, county, city) should provide all other aspects of government to its citizens.

We are one nation under God but, separate states, each with its own goals and individual resources.

Education is not free, no matter what you think. If it was free it would be worth exactly what you paid for it, nothing. The government school system of America is not about teaching, it’s about indoctrination. You teachers out there…when was the last time your class or your children read the Constitution? The Declaration of Independence? When was the last time you, as a teacher, read them? Explained them to the class or you children? Tried to explain them to anyone?

Once you have read them…tell me what is guaranteed by those documents. What is not guaranteed by those documents?

Sarah Palin, wrong place wrong time. Sexy, vivacious and nice to look at. Talking…big mistake. ‘nuff said.

George Bush, W, not H. I believe he meant well but, he was just a little too left of center. Big government is never the answer.

I really believe that the county is in dire straits. The economy is crumbling down around us and government is growing exponentially. The nation’s largest auto manufacture has been nationalized, along with one of the countries largest banks with more of the same looming on the horizon.

Government is dictating executive salaries at private firms, bonuses too, and proposing one of the biggest hoaxes of all time. And the American people blithely huddle in front of their big screen TV’s and wait for the announcement of who this season American Idol will be.

Personally I feel we have lost. America is no longer that once great country of strong individuals. It is now a conglomeration of sheep sitting starry eyed in front of the boob tube. A lot of Americans have become too lazy to even raise their children. They rather squat in their living rooms and watch what’s happening with their favorite movie stars or sit in front of the computer and surf the web to find out about their favorite movie star.

America has become a country of politicians and slackers. Ten percent of the top income earners in this country paid seventy-one percent of the taxes. One percent of the top income earners in this country paid thirty-nine percent of the taxes. The top fifty percent of wage earners paid ninety-seven percent of the income taxes. So that leaves the bottom fifty percent of wage earners paying only three percent.

And this does not take into account those citizens that only filed a return to get the Earned Income Credit. So of the 135,719,160 positive AGI returns filed 67,859,580 paid no or little income taxes. Whata know?

HR25 would be the biggest stimulus to this countries economy in the last hundred years. It would be a windfall for those at or below the poverty level. It would be the biggest transfer of power from the politicians to the people in the history of the country.

Oh and one other thing…Michael Jackson? Who really cares? Did he change your life in anyway, except to possibly bring some fairly good music into it? Did he invent some life saving apparatus? Did he discover some life saving drug? Was he a hero in some forgotten war? Then why do the unwashed masses flock to his funeral? The only funerals I ever wanted to attend were my grandparents. I’m certainly not going to take time out of my life to even think about Michael Jackson…except I just did?!?! Well that’s five minutes I won’t get back. Fuck!

This just in…

President Robert Mugabe described the U.S. assistant secretary of state for African affairs as "an idiot" after an acrimonious meeting between the two at an African summit in Libya, Zimbabwe's state media reported on Monday.

also this just in...

Michael Jackson is still dead!

:p

That was a lots of stuffs, Dave. Did you have all that pent-up, or is it going to continue in this pace on a daily basis, Steve?

Anyway, Hubert, I didn't have any thoughts of my own to add. If I do I'll probably create my own place.

I'm just curious what names you're gonna call me, not that I have called you three. ;)

MJs temperature has stabilized, so the worst may be over.

Now, now Zeb. If you keep posting things like that, people won't like you. :D

Listen Jack, I was just sitting at work without much to do and I thought what the hell, Mabel. I think I'll put some stuff down and see if it come through that fan, Margie.

First of all, H.R.25 touts a 23% tax on all goods and services but it's calculated the way most state sales taxes are calculated and comes out to a $.30 on the dollar tax. Guess what? $.30 is 23% of $1.30. Also, I know about the prebates and such, and how those are supposed to make it so that nobody ever loses more than 11% of their income to taxes, and the lower your income the less you pay (because the lower your income the less you consume). But remember, this is on top of state and local sales taxes.

It's supposed to be "revenue-neutral," in that it should bring in enough money to completely replace what is lost by repealing a chunk of the Internal Revenue Code. However, should it and all the other predictions they're making turn out to be incorrect, and the government decides it needs more money (or just decides out of nowhere that it needs more money, as governments are wont to do because they're irresponsible), there's nothing in there preventing them from increasing rates in what's left of the Internal Revenue Code. There's nothing to prevent the states from looking at this and seeing ONLY the increased take-home pay that everyone has, and deciding that's the answer to their financial woes and increasing THEIR taxes. After all, at least here in my state the general assembly refuses to do it because people are in a financial bind. Would they still think so if we all suddenly had an extra $500 or more per paycheck? Not bloody likely.

A lot of the taxes we pay right now are ridiculous, but so is this bill. It doesn't give the people any control at all because it doesn't actually prohibit a damn thing when it comes to government taxation.

You didn't quote me, you bastard.
God I'm funny.
I say cool things...unlike shereads, she's just snarky.

and I love Obama.
But I guess differences are expected here.
I just want a better health care system and more money funneled into medical research than to a stupid useless war.

The tax rate is a inclusive rate just like income taxes. There are three books on the subject, and a website go read them criticize.

Sorry, it's just that I am very passionate about HR25. But if you read you will like what it says.

There will always be a war...war on drugs, war on terror, war on ignorance, war on sex, war on war.

How much better do you want it? Do you want long waits or a long life?

I want domestic violence to become an issue that is more prevelant.
This past week here, a man raped and tried to kill a five year old girl, she ended up needing surgery for what he did, I want the death penalty to be enforced.

Good night Gracie.

Sorry couldn't help it.

Zeb’s Random Stuff…

I’m just stunned at all the worshippers of false gods we have, not only in this country, but the world. I was amazed at all the people that had the time to waste to participate in the biggest farce in the world. Instead of saying a pitiful good-bye to a freak, why not say good-bye to the honorable men and woman who died defending this country yesterday. Do you know, with out googling it, how many did die? Didn’t think so.

The big scam is still in the news…cAP & tRADE. Still trying to bilk the taxpayers for everything they make.

Oh you thought I was talking about the oBAMa Healthcare Plan…the one that is supposed to take care of you for the rest of your life? What a joke, take care of you for the rest of your life…hahaha. You know that just might be true as under the plan you probably wouldn’t last long as you would probably be denied any life saving assistance as being to costly for how old you are. Don’t worry too much you and I will probably not be around to see our children or their children suffer under this “plan”.

Well, we’re well on the way to becoming surfs to the political class, I hope y’all like it.

Speaking of surfs, what do you think the top 10 % wage earners will be doing come Cap & Trade and Healthcare BS? That’s right they’ll find a job paying minimum wage or just retire and blithely live their live on some remote tropical island and let us all go to hell in a hand basket. That’s what I would do if I was in that top 10%.

So now you, the government, have just lost 71% of your income. What ya do? Not a clue, huh?

When all is said and done, if you work hard and make a good living, there will those who hate you for doing it. There will be those who will take it away from you, as much as they can get. And those who will think you are evil for having the audacity for earning all that money that they won’t or can’t.

If you fail at something, get up off you ass and try again.

If you’re good a something, it doesn’t always mean you can make a living from doing it.

Favorite Quotes…

The death-knell of the republic had rung as soon as the active power became lodged in the hands of those who sought, not to do justice to all citizens, rich and poor alike, but to stand for one special class and for its interests as opposed to the interests of others.

and in case you missed it…

Sci-Fi is now SyFy! WTF!

If you fail at something, get up off you ass and try again.
I disagree. If you fail at something, don't get up off you ass and try again. Whatever you did just proved to not work. You'll just repeat the fail. Get up off your ass and try something else.

Well if you're stupid enough to try the same thing, they you deserve what you get. NO?

Not unlike those who insist that forms of government such as Communisim, Socialisim, Totalitarianism and Utopianisim will work if everyone tries just a little harder. Other than jingoisim, intimidation and basic survival, there are no other motivators and they fail again and again. ;)

Zeb’s Random Stuff…

Why have we become sheep?

Why would we be willing to follow a man with no practical experience for the job?

Why is there this feeling everyone in the world is laughing at us?

Why is everyone in the world holding their breath waiting for us to pass that stupid TAX and Cap bill? Could it be they see $$$ in their future. My $$$’s flying in out of my pocket into everyone else in the world, isn’t that just peachy? I really hate having to support people who are not my family.

Am I bitter? You bet!

Am I worried? Yes, for my grandchildren. I’ll die before it gets too bad but, my grandchildren will be the ones who have to live in squalor as serfs of the political class. The other night it was mentioned that “Blade Runner” was on the SyFy (wtf!) channel. Would you like to live like that? No, not the characters who were the leads, the masses walking shoulder to shoulder in the dark? In the dark because the political class, who think they are above the rest of humanity, built above them. Do you want that for you children? Do you want that for your grandchildren? You don’t think there was research involved in what the world would be like in the time period of the movie? Of the book?

Three things I’m tired of hearing on the news…

1. Michael Jackson…yes he’s still dead get over it.
2. Stacy, Casey … whatshername. I’m nobody and I don’t care! So nobody cares!
3. What a good job the media thinks Obama is doing.

There is one thing I’d like to know?

Is this the change you voted for? Just wondering.

This just in…

Michael Jackson is still dead!

I know, it’s an old Chevy Chase bit but, I like it.

From time to time I may also include a rant about something that bothers me...the same rules apply.

Zeb’s Rant…

This is about ignorance, not stupidity. Ignorance can be reversed, fixed. Stupidity is forever. And no matter what a politician says, he/she doesn’t give one flying flip about you! I am basically a happy person. I go about my business, don’t bother anyone, etc. I do, however, become deeply depressed when I see people falling for marketing ploys.

It’s time for one of my favorite quotes:

People will buy anything that is one to a customer.
- Sinclair Lewis

I just wonder, now that he’s in office, if the change he is proposing is the change you thought you voted for?

Did you vote for a 10% unemployment rate? With projections of the rate only getting worse?

Did you vote for a spending bill that will have your grandchildren’s children paying it down for their lifetimes?

Did you vote for the government to dictate the salaries and bonuses of private companies? How long until they take a look at what you earn?

Did you vote for the government to take over one of America’s largest corporations, to nationalize a private enterprise?

Did you vote for government to produce a health care plan the will cost in excess of one trillion dollars? That’s $1,000,000,000,000.00. If you laid the dollars end to end they would circle the globe 3,876 times at the equator.

Do you want to be diagnosed with cancer and then be told that it will be a six month wait before they can even begin treatment?

Did you vote to be herded like cattle? Maybe not like cattle, they will receive better healthcare than you will.

Is this the change you voted for?

I really want to know what you thought would be different? What has changed? What change has occurred? What has gotten better for the people?

Did you vote for change?

Did you vote for the biggest hoax bill in the world, cap and trade(tax)? A bill that will not change the CO2 levels one bit, nor will it decrease the global temperature by even 1 degree in the next ten years.

A campaign promise was made – no new taxes for those who make $250k or under! Cap and Tax will increase energy prices by up to 45%. That’s for everyone!

Cap and Tax will place a penalty tax on corporations and as we all know, corporations don’t pay taxes, individuals pay taxes, the cost will be passed on to the consumer. You raise taxes on a company you actually raise taxes on the individual taxpayer. Yet some of you don’t seem to get that. Some of you don’t understand the basic principle of economics, corporation pass the cost of everything they use on to the consumer. Their costs for labor, raw material, taxes are passed on to the consumer in the price of the items you buy!

So, even though at the end of the year the company fills out their tax return and may or may not write a check to the government (IRS) that money is yours. Those taxes have been already collected from you, the consumer, when you purchased the product.

Did you vote for change? What pray tell has changed? The name of the party in power, that’s what’s changed. And who has the power? The people don’t have the power. In fact those in power are taking more and more of it away from the people.

Let’s look at the stimulus bill enacted by congress and signed by the President. $750 billion. That’s almost exactly what the government collects from tax payers in a six month period, $750 billion. Why not let them keep it? Why not have, a tax free six months? No income tax, no Social Security tax, no Medicare tax. The government is going to have to borrow the damn money anyway, why not let the people keep it and use it as they see fit.

You know why that didn’t and won’t happen? First, it’s all about power and who has it. If the politicians let you keep the money you earn then you have the power. They will never do that. They want the power to spend that money, to buy votes for the next election. Second, they don’t think you’re wise enough to know how to spend your hard earned money.

Everything done by ANY administration has been about power and the nice little perks they all get with the job. They don’t give a crap about you and your mortgage. They do however care about who you will vote for in the next election. If they can hoax their way past you and make you think they did you a favor so you will vote for them, they’ll do it no matter how many lies they spin.

All politicians are liars.

Is that change you believed you were voting for? Is this Change you can believe in?

I will bet that if the Healthcare bill included those in power would be required to enroll, the bill would never, ever be passed.

I will also bet, that if the little benefits to the favored companies in the Cap & Tax bill were removed it too would never be passed.

So from now on when congress proposes a bill that will be beneficial to the people, look and see how, if it ever does, require those who voted for it to be part of it. I bet you will find some loophole, some exception that they don’t have to participate.

If what’s good for the masses isn’t good for the political class, then why is it good for the masses?

And if you don’t understand what I’m talking about, then God help us all.

:(

...wow. There's something just staggeringly ironic about that Rant. Must be how it started with a gripe about ignorance and marketing ploys, and how it then continued.
