Last night I have submitted my three   4 seasons poems. This genre was invented by Yuri Runov. In 1997, years after he has created his poem of this type, he hinted to this kind of cunstruction, rather jokingly, on shiki list. I took his light remarks seriously, reinvented what he has done and I described it for the rest of the list. Several participants, beside me, have contributed their poems, and three of them did it rather well. I'll copy their poems in this thread. All these poems but one were posted later on RedFrog too but RedFrog has ceased to exist. The very original poem, by Yuri, was written in Russian. He only emailed it to me privately (and I lost it, unfortunately). I don't think that it has ever appeared publically.

I hope that Literoticans (Literoticians?) will take to "4 seasons" like a duck to water.

Best regards

Definition

A 4 seasons poem is an integration of four haiku-like stanzas devoted to the consecutive seasons, and united by the same theme. U may start with any season, and then U procede in the natural order, e.g. if U start with winter then it is going to be winter-spring-summer-fall.

Try it, U'll like it :),

What?

Senna Jawa, May I suggest you start the thread with one of the haiku you submitted. Explain the structure you use for your haiku.
