You've got to love a network like NBC

That is so concerned about its morning show that it won't preempt it to run what turns out to be a classic men's finals at Wimbledon. Five sets, 9-7 in the fifth, both men playing fabulously and neither really cracking under the pressure. Sports at it's best, but instead we get to see Katie and Matt mug it up for the cameras, sigh...

Hey, maybe it's just because they're europhobes, maybe if Andre or Pete had been in the finals it would have been shown live? Darn you Aussies and Croats for pushing the show to MSNBC...why can't you be more important to NBC?

Well, if you didn't get that last 30 minutes of the today show in, someone would bitch about missing some interview with a mildly popular actor or the new recipe for fat free stuffed peppers

If you are going to promise to show wimbledon, by God, show wimbledon...

If their summer show lineup is any indication, NBC will soon slip to being the 4th network if they do not disappear entirely

NBC is still in business? Gawd I haven't seen them in so long. I guess I am not missing anything. Watching grown men bat around a ball has to be far more entertaining than thier version of the news. I'd be pissed too!

Not as much as if they canceled the car races.

Q: Why does Wyandotte County finally feel superior rather than inferior to the rest of Kansas?

A: They got the new stock car track!

I never watch TV news. I saw the NBC evening news once recently and it had audience quizzes and things like that. Are we all that stupid that we need that kind of crap?
I am old enough to remember Walter Cronkite and when network news had a kind of serious gravity

Yeah, us stoneagers cut our teeth on black and white, and then came color, then came the vietnam conflict and those pictures and man, whew, television has never been the same. I like it more innocent, you now, Rob and Laura in separate beds...,

It helped with those pre-teen fantasies. I mean I was absolutely too young to enjoy a three-way...

:)

i'm not as stone age as that, I just remember seeing him when I was little.
off the subject, my parents had satellite tv, when I was an early teen , we enjoyed the joys of unblocked porn...so we were watching 3ways when the parents went to bed

I remember the first cable and the movie you got, American Graffiti, over and over and over, so I have always hated Happy Days and Ron Howard in particular, but I liked Opie! and I love Opie's Pizza!

Hey don't knock

The Outlaw Josey Wales, or Roadhouse, or the redneck channel!

Threeways are great, unless you are with your spouse in which case you are somehow supposed to ignore or not enjoy the other person. Better with good-looking strangers!

we should certainly, i mean i'd hate if you went through life without seeing or being in a 3way.....andrea jenny, how often have you done that?

Watched movies or had sex with strangers?

Hell, let's be honest. I lost count of both. Let us just say I was formerly experienced, ah, have you ever been experienced?

not experienced with more than one at a time....but willing to learn!

Jimi Hendrix is playing in my head now....thanks!

"But first....are you.....experienced???? Have you ever been experienced????"

You know, I was raised by the no-consequences generation. There are consequences to unlimited sex, drugs, and rock and roll another one.

Having said that, I wouldn't trade my experiences for the world since I think I finally made to where I was supposed to be all along.
