Damn. I can remember ALL that stuff.

And I remember when it seemed like I was the only person in the world who voted for McGovern.

And Nixon's fist VP was Spiro Agnew. Thank God we got Gerald Ford before Nixon resigned. He was the first of the only two truly decent men to hold the Presidency in my lifetime, and he was never elected to any national post at all.

I remember when a dime was plenty for when the Good Humor man came around, and when a quarter would get you into the public pool to swim all day.

23 cents a gallon for gas

where you were when you watched the moon landing.

You think meeting H.R. Puff-n-stuff is/was a big thing. (I did, and it was.)

You know who H.R. Puff-n-stuff is

When 14 pages on a literotica thread was A LOT!!

And here I thought you were going to say something along the lines of "When Patryn was just another member". Think I can remember those days..... barely.

It was brand new. I guess they had to pay for it somehow.

There was a Dog N Suds root beer stand next door and the root beer was a dime and came in a glass mug.

The shopping mall was a strip of six stores on the west side of town.

M80 firecrackers were legal.

As a couple of folks have pointed out, though, at least I'm not too old to remember. Gotta count whatever blessing you have.

Yeah me too.

Or if you can remember back to the first time the boards changed formats.

Even farther back when there were not boards.

Even farther back when you could read every story at lit in a single night.

The first one was better. Especialy that scene in the bathtub. Think that was the best cartooned animal orgy I've ever seen in a movie from the 70's.
