Because they're afraid to be alone. Maybe the really didn't want a child as much as they thought they did. Financial problems could be a factor. Because they felt intimidated in some by their lover.

I certainly hope that neither you or anyone you know has to deal with. I remember Jade's problem not so long ago and it ripped her to pieces.

What I would do:

1) Kick his ass out.
2) Divorce his ass.
3) Get a restraining order sworn out against him.

A son of a bitch like that doesn't deserve a set of balls. He doesn't want a baby, he should get himself snipped to prevent it or use a condom. Moreover, he should have discussed the issue fully in the beginning.

Why would a woman get the abortion? Some women have less self-esteem than is healthy. With a control freak like that, there's no doubt he kept her down through a regular dose of verbal abuse and things like, "You're lucky I married you, no one else would want you."

On second thought, vivisection would be a nice thing to add to the list if you could legally get away with it.

I am personally pro life....But I agree with Zam in the sense that the guy should have kept mr happy in his pants....and i wonder why now did the guy just up and want to split? Afraid to be a dad? Well then why KILL something if there's the possiblity that maybe the dad might get over it? But if I had to choose....I'd keep the baby...with the idea that we could give it away...rather than kill it...but IF i wanted to keep the baby because i wanted the kid....no matter what....then i'd keep it...but children need both parents to function ....oh well...
