Your pick - Best Picture

What movie would you like to see win Best Picture award and what movie do you think will actually win the award?


I would like Chocolat to win but I think Gladiator will get the award.

I think it is rather obvious. One movie was creative and well done beyond all others. Yes, Chicken Run was Best Picture for 2000.

Oh yeah, I forgot, the Academy Awards have become a promotional vehicle with over half of the votes coming from people who don't even make movies.

Well, then, since you can't be an agent for a clay chicken, then the best movie from last year that had people in it had to be Best In Show. Oh yeah, not enough promotional possibility. Shucks.

Hell, might as well give the award to a Steve Reeves sword and sandal flick. Gladiator wins while I check out the public vomiting stalls.

I like Tom Hanks, but I have this funny notion that you should speak in the first 45 mins of the movie to act.......at least it helps.

Gladiator - personal choice.

Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon probably should, but I doubt the academy will allow a "foreign" film to win the big prize.

Some STUPID movie like Traffic (yes, I hated it..dumbass movie) will probably win.

I would like to see Crouching Tiger win, but I think it will be Gladiator. I don't see the Academy giving Best Picture to a foreign film.
