A guy in Michigan (That's in the US, ppman), is in boupcoup trouble cause he took hacking software and planted it on his estranged wife's puter. The software basically sent him updates as often as every 30 minutes detailing her activities online. Cool huh? He could go to jail for 5 years.

So, what would you do if you found out your current, estranged, or never was S/O was hacking your puter to see what you were doing?

I don't hide what I do, Studboy has access. It's up to him whether he cares or not.

I actually have a friend who did that to her boyfriends cpu when she thought he was cheating on her.

My husband looks at just about everything I do, and I don't care if he does. If there is really something I want to hide, then I just delete the history, and remove it from any temp files on my cpu. But, he doesn't have anything like those progs on my cpu. If he wanted to, more power to him.

Incidently, the progs my friend used were two different ones. The first one would take a screen shot every 30 seconds, and email it to her every time it filled up to a certain amount of megs.

The other program is a key logger, that would record everything at all typed into the cpu. That would save to a file that she had to access from his cpu. She got his passwords to everything that way, and knew what he was saying to the girls that he would stay up late to talk to.

Luckily I'm the only person with accsess to this machine but I do also have a really good anti virus that scans for backdoor programs and other nasties.

I've also fitted a fire wall that was recomended by a really clever woman a while back.......her name.....Killermuffin. ;)
