Your good guy team vs. my bad guy team?

First, I am not talking super heroes here, they annoy the heck out of me. This would be more animeish, although it could be either fantasy or science fiction or some mix of the two. Possibly the teams could be college-age military academy students competing in a war game tournament, but there are lots of other possibilities.

Second my villains would be more like anti-villains, basically likeable and somewhat comical; they would also be smart and win about half the time. Your heroes could be either standard good and pure-hearted but dumb comic heroes, or anti-heroes of more questionable ethics, or both types grudgingly working together. We would plan an ending ahead of time, and the ending would either be our two teams declaring peace, or some crazy twist resulting in both teams unexpectedly winning whatever they were fighting over.

There would be romance but it would be mainly within each team, there would be at most one case of 'fraternizing with the enemy'. My characters would mostly be gay men, I don't really care what gender and orientation yours are. So this would really be more of a science fiction/fantasy co-writing project than a sexual roleplay. If it turns out well we could turn it into a manga. Optionally, if more than one person is interested in making only one or two good guy characters, maybe you could team up.

So, anyone interested? If so, tell me if there are any animes that you would like to do something similar to. For example Bleach has a nifty shinigami academy, although it doesn't get much screen time. Naruto spends several episodes on its ninja academy and subsequent tests. Stellvia of the Universe and Candidate for Goddess both have interesting examples of space academies. And going past a school setting, we could have two troops competing either within the military or in an inter-military wargame, or an actual conflict with mages and maybe dragon riders... lots and lots of possibilities. So if you're interested, post in response and describe what sorts of settings and/or plots you'd be interested in, and if you have any specific character ideas. :cattail:

Okay, seeing as how no one was even interested enough to comment, let's switch from co-writer request mode to troubleshooting mode. If you thought the above concept was interesting except for some flaw, what was the flaw? Gay characters? Being asked to create a team rather than rp a single character? Being asked to do the good guys when you prefer bad guys? Or something else?
