My vote goes to Victoria Pedretti as Dani Clayton and Amelia Eve as Jamie Taylor in The Haunting of Bly Manor.

I know it's not direct or explicit, but I love Alicent Hightower from House of the Dragon. I'm guilty of being a Rhaenicent shipper (Alicent x Rhaenyra).

EDIT: I also liked Good Omens.

followed (very closely but still not closely enough) by Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles in Who's Line is it anyway?

Film/TV: really hard to think of good examples, because I was barely watching TV by the time they started showing queer relationships that weren't tragic/predatory stereotypes.

From books: Red and Blue, This Is How You Lose The Time War. Honourable mention to XĆch Si and Rice Fish, Resting from The Red Scholar's Wake.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio.

To veer off into novels: Pinky and Brain from the Laundry Files by Charles Stross.
I loved the little detail that P&B had to go to Pride every couple of years to maintain their clearances.

Haven't seen them for a few books now... but that's probably for the best, given how the Laundryverse is looking under the New Management.

Because they have to be openly gay. Otherwise they could be blackmailed by foreign agents, because of the rule that the government doesn't hire gay agents because that would make them susceptible to blackmail. Because the government doesn't work with gay agents because that would make them susceptible to blackmail. Etc.

Whilst perhaps not official (I haven't seen the latest season, so no spoilers please!) ...

Nandor the Relentless and Guillermo de la Cruz from "What we do in the Shadows".

Violet and Corky in Bound, played by Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon.

The best gay couple, Diamonds are Forever, the two hit men Wint and Kidd. The lesbians guarding Willard White, Bamby and Thumper weren't bad, either.

But Violet and Corky hold a very special place in my heart and lust!
