I'd have to say Foreman. The man has gone rounds with some of the greats, and knows his shit.

And his "Lean, Mean, Grillin Machine" is pretty cool too.

Jim Lampley, and sometimes Emanuel Steward. I didn't include Emanuel because I think he's more of a "guest" commentator, kinda like when they used to bring in Roy Jones to do commentary.

Lampley rules! His calm, cool persona is the perfect counterbalance to Lerry Merchant. HBO has the best team, by far. Showtime boxing sucks serious ass. I was watching some mediocre Irish guy beat up a mediocre African guy on Showtime tonight while eating my chicken tacos. The fight was in England, and had wacky rules. First off, it was a match for the "Lightweight Title of the British Commonwealth" or something near as obscure. Secondly, rather than having three judges score the bout, the referee was the judge! At the end of the last round, he gestured toward the winner and that was it. Thirdly (and of less importance to me, being a heterosexual female and all), the round card girl came out in a full-length evening gown instead of a bathing suit.

ESPN rules, though theur boxing isn't as good as HBO's. They do have "Mad" Max Kellerman. That guy cracks me up! I've never seen someone so excited about boxing. And he knows his stuff!

George Foreman is the worst boxing commentator on TV. He's either blind or not paying attention.

Lampley is the best, but does anybody watch boxing any more?
