Your Data Wrapped

It's that time of the year again, and I noticed Discord released a similar function to Spotify's wrapped. Some of the people I know have reacted to it with a groan of indifference. However, it got me thinking... What if all messaging apps had that function? Not just Discord, but WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, you name it...

What if they have their own type of Wrapped where they show you to which people you've been talking to the most? The biggest highlights, like longest calls, screenshots of video chats... Sexting snippets...

What if this Wrapped function decides to make all your highlights all about the times you sexted with other people for whole nights?

It started as a joke, but the cyberpunk side of my brain is flirting with this idea, and it doesn't want to let go...

I could see it as a friends to lovers story:

Two people have been flirting and maybe doing a bit of sexting but neither think anything that seriously about it

Ah, but then comes their yearly wrap up and they see the totality of the time they’ve been playing and flirting. Seeing all the time they spent messaging each other and joking about it…what if it wasn’t a joke anymore?

So they call each other up and meet up in person.
