What is your best achievement so far?

I keep a boring job which doesn't benefit very much to the society...

I guess my best achievements so far so my kids...

Taking my morning piss without it going everywhere.....

Never been worth much more than ....actually I just take up resources....my apologies to the rest of the population.

First, do no harm.

Check. I'm pretty harmless.

Anything else is gravy.

I've raised 3 wonderful chitlins.

I also fixed my finances. It took 5 months, but I finally am ok.

My rant is that I put $3.7 million bucks in stock out there for a Charity fundraiser, over 22 years time.

I saw a ad in a mail order catalog for 4 leaf clovers,apx 23 bucks plus 5 bucks S/H in the Signals catalog,in a small 3x5 frame.

So, I put mine in plastic and told te Red Cross to get 20 bucks on mine to begin with. The 5,and 6 leaf clovers no ones heard about are 10 x more scarce.I took the Wicca class ,and got their advice.Mrs Y Frost, head Wiccan said they are more blessed by Goddess, the more leaves they have.

So,I put $100 on the 5 leaf and 400 on 6 leaf clovers. After 2 years,I put together a Talisman set of apx 20 pgs for 20 to 30 bucks, depending on the no of pgs.Occult Supply Houses generally charge 2 bucks a pg of ten talismans per pg,and special pkg deals on sets.Thats besides my 8 to ten pgs of health and longlife resources.\

I also put together my Health and Longlife pgs to add value to the fundraiser, after studying such on the side maybe 20 yrs at the time.I put the grtst hits of Alt/Complementary meds from health food store type outlets in said pgs..

I also hold a 2 yr para prof degree in Mental Health Social Work.I incorporated resources into said pgs to be of genl help to those purchasing said items like 6 to 21 bookclubs that give 100 to 200 bucks in books for ea club joined, the music clubs BMG,Columbia house.I took the Soc Work Tech State Exam in NC back apx 1983 to be registered.
Links to buy stuff that could give savings to cover the price of the talisman set or clover over time are in said pgs. This I heard was being construed as spam. However,my last specialty semester class taught we were to make ourselves aware of community resources and refer people to specialists, which I did via these health and longlife resource pgs.

I also had workshops in activities, art, music, recreational, occupational, educational therapies, that these resources lent themselves towards. My dads specialty in his Ed Major was Art.His Teachers certificate is on file in Miami,at the Dade Co Board of Ed.

I worked the State Hospital in S FL for apx 15 mo as a Unit Treatment and Rehab Specialist title, adolescents division.A grand title for apx 10 grand a yr back in 1980.I passed the same test given to R N s and LPN s inservice nursing ed class to get a med admn certificate with the State there at that time. Before that I worked as a psych nurse in a St Hospital a yr,another in a retardation facility while going to college.

However, things went south for me.Reagan cancelled a 1/3 of the civil service,I was handicapped myself, one of the reasons I went into such a major. So I hired a lawyer to get a sm pension.

Maybe not a happy ever after ending, but I feel I got to contribute to society, not that any of the proceeds went to me.2/3 went to the Red Cross efforts.I put apx 350 Grand in my extended families names as donations of property in kind .
A few yrs back, they changed the law to say you must have a receipt to claim it on your income taxes,ie,anything you donate.

I had one midget plainclothes down the street say "I woundn t give you a quarter for one of those",one day, some yrs back.I also heard some of those purchasing these were trying to say they had nothing but bad luck of the worst sort & it got worse after the purchase.

As if to say I was perpetrating a fraud on them so I should have some of that psychic vampirism of the freemasons put on me,as just desserts, that they use to protect the police organized crime with.

Thats after I donated 300 grand to ABC broadcasting for charity fundraising...Each to his own ,I say, noone twisting his arm, supposed to be a free country...

I went to school in the Detroit Metro area ,Oakland Co,& sent apx 1/2 a million in stock up there to various institutions, incl. my alma mater,Oakland Comm College,ie,the Mental Health Soc Work Dept, which has apx 26 thousand students a yr,over 6 campuses.

PS,over the past 4 yrs,I told the Red Cross to just hand them out where appropriate, and put them on the Hospital Bill as therapy.I pointed out that St Benedict had the Monastaries do Hospital,Charity, and Ed work, copying his small library of books accross Europe.

Hes a patron Saint of Europe, credited with getting Europe out of the dark ages. Also, the charities should to try and steer them in their choices of titles towards therapy, titles, how to/do it yourself stuff, etc,as ancillary therapeutic tools. My birthday,on the 11 th,is St Benedicts feast day.Usually its the day they died, but they moved it out of lent to July 11.

My ma was a St Nurse a couple yrs in the late 50s.Later she did 14 years in the police dept.I think she threw my name in the hat to use as a stage name for this one detective who went to be a TV weatherman.Ma told me 1/3 of the detectives were using auto repairs and sales for their identities. However, she saidmaybe a 1/2 doz were gay in the metro areas, and hung out in gay bars as barflies,mgrs,bouncers...She was a gaybar bartender on one of her assignments. At 267 lbs,was passing as butch. She lost her ovaries to a precancerous condition and doubled up to that 267 lb/..The whole gay bar was operated by the detectives,in the Detroit suburbs,a recurrent theme ,nationwide IMO/.
This Johnson guy s pic looks like me...

I don t know what my post has to do with being gay.My dad went gay after getting divorced. He said he had some connections to help get me a job at S Fl St Hospital back then.I sent my application into the State that rated me as 84% for the Unit Trtmt and Rehab Spec title...
One of his boyfriends was a FBI type that bought the old Cuban Embassy on N Miami Ave ,a few blocks from Biscayne Blvd.My dad had a efficiency apt across the Street. He manned the Gay hotline pt time a few yrs on N Miami Ave with the Gay pride coalition back at that time.

His buddy made him a permanent guest in those high end clubs, pops had been a MP in the WW2 marines, and had a special deputy rating with the Dade Co public safety div.,kinda like Magnum PI,being Robin Masters guest at the clubs, and living in the guest house.

He said they were funded by some high end private clubs affluent men joined for fees ,in place of country clubs.I bought a 7 yr old cadillac and let pops go clubbing with it,as I worked nights...We moved back to his home state of NC ,6 yrs before he passed.\

He said he didn t want to end up in a nursing home...His FBI buddy turned the old Cuban Embassy into a nursing home for less than 6 pts,and lived in the servants qtrs, behind the garage...

Some resources you may want,: www.damron.com ,apx 20 bucks for a travelers guide to gay watering holes.outpersonals.com...I ve had a few virtual dates with some sub/cd s on here as well as virtual RP with a few women here....but virtually just not dating...

Not mine, but worth mentioning.

Interview: A few words with Tim Schafer.
With Psychonauts due for release in just over one week, the demo having just been released to the mass gaming public, and a powerful marketing campaign underway to get word of Psychonauts to the millions, it is truly an extremely exciting time for the fans, publishers and developers of Psychonauts. I took the opportunity to ask Tim Schafer - the creator of Psychonauts, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle - a few questions relating to the release, the game, and himself.

Razputin.net: As those of us who have been following the game since its announcement know, Psychonauts has had a fairly long development period. Taking into consideration the fact that this game's development has probably consumed you and your teams' life for the past few years, how do you all feel about finally having managed to pretty much get it to the point of completion? Are you relieved? Excited? Sad?

Schafer: Well, try to forget for a second that I don’t know anything at all about football, and I will tell you that I feel like we just made the touchdown of all touchdowns, after running the entire length of the field, and the field was so long that it took five years to run, and it was tilted so we run running uphill the whole time, and it was infested with land mines and bear traps and killer bees, and instead of grass it was covered in jagged shards of glass, and the opposing team’s smallest player was 20 feet tall and one of his arms was a machine gun and the other arm was a poisonous snake, and the snake had a switchblade. And after running for two and a half years, half the stadium got bored and left, and half of the people that remained started booing, and half of the people who weren’t booing were reading magazines.

And then it started raining, and then snowing, and then hailing, and then acid rain, and then poison snow, and then radioactive hail. And then the white lines in the field turned out to be trip wires, and when we stepped on them poison arrows shot into our legs and arms and cheeks. And then the Goodyear blimp crashed on the field, and it was one of the rare, hydrogen-filled blimps, and it exploded, and we had to run through it, and all the passengers on the blimp were burned beyond recognition, but they died in a rage so they were still alive in a smoldering, zombie state, and all the burned zombies attacked us, and then there was an earthquake, and then we found out our wisdom teeth were all impacted and had to come out, and then the world exploded, and then when we thought all the blimp zombies were dead, eight more came out of the luggage compartment, and then we twisted our ankle, and then we lost the ball for a while, and then we died.

Then a volcano fell out of the sky and landed on the field, and then everything was just a pile of hot lava, and acid, and poison, and snakes, and blimp guts, and there was no sign of us, so they started playing “Taps” and the TV coverage cut to a commercial and the fans started getting up to leave, but then, right then, a tiny girl in a Whinny the Pooh nightie stood up in the cheap seats and, with a single tear falling down her dirt-smudged face, she said simply, “Psychonauts?” then the tear rolled off her face and fell on to the lava and hissed into steam and then the steam rose up and turned into the Earthly Form of Satan, and he walked onto the field and started taking a leak on the Double Fine two-headed baby logo painted on the ground and he laughed and laughed and then he shuttered a bit and then he laughed again and then there was an eerie silence, and then the silence grew more silent, and then everybody looked to where the silence was coming from—the pile of lava and acid.

And then there was a distant murmur, and then a far-off rumbling, and it got louder and louder and louder, and then Satan started mouthing the words “wtf?” but before he could finish, BOOM! We exploded out of the lava pile, riding a motorcycle we fashioned out of zombie bones, riding a wave of molten radioactive hydrogen that comes crashing down with us onto Satan, melting him into nothing and ending evil forever, and then the stadium exploded with applause as we hit the ramp and jumped over 44 busses and landed doing a wheelie that we kept riding all the way into the end zone, and as the largest worldwide television audience in history sat there with their jaws wide open we took this ball, this ball called Psychonauts, and we spiked it into the end zone, we spiked it down so hard that a ripple spread out from the point of impact--a ripple in the fabric of reality itself--and it spread out like a wave of light and ecstasy and satisfaction that healed all Psychonauts fans of all known diseases, and caused all enemies of Psychonauts to immediately pop like eggs in a microwave.

The international dateline AND the Equator were both moved so that they passed through the place where we spiked down that ball, and all measures of time were reset so that the moment the ball hit the ground was forever thereafter referred to as 00:00:00 on the day 0 in the year 0. And by some fluke by-product of these changes, all of our parking tickets were somehow instantly forgiven and Rhandy Rhodes came back to life and a tiny, tiny spider in a nearby meadow silently spun the words “Good Job!” into her dew-covered web and smiled. It’s a great, great feeling.

Somewhere I heard the ticket is to blow things up way out of proportion ie,100 x,to make it so preposterous ,so its entertaining.I think thats where the entry before this ones alluding to in the game...

I had one guy as a co worker who was alleged to have written Blazing Saddles,if you ve seen the movie...

I had one guy with a name almost the same as mine doing Weather on ABC,a few yrs in S Carolina, then half a doz yrs in NCarolina...

Then there was a Johnson doing the Sports Anchor on ABC in Charlotte,NC for 30 yrs or so.Similar to the Johnson name in this thread. He married a woman that was the mom of my younger brothers biological dad,a detective that also later started doing weather on ABC Charlotte,NC,& is still there, though getting long in the tooth...

I worked uniform guard for a couple private security firms apx 18 mo before taking the state civil service exam for psych attendant/ nurse 03and working thru college on that job concurrently.

Out of the 2/3 of 3.7 million in stock for the red cross,I did significant earmarks for food and food co ops coupled to orphanages inAfrica, the pacific rim tsunami area,Afghanistan,Haiti, and Mexico.

Thats so orphanages could be self sustaining into purpituity, and turning the red cross efforts towards a more missions approach.I also earmarked some for wells.

Isnt that a feel good feeling?

Oh,personally,I tested infertile back when I was married and the wife took my specimen to a specialist. She wanted kids, already had one when I met her.So she moved on,and then had a few more, eventually.I went to college after she left, and got a 2 yr degree.

Thanx in advance, for saving us from the borg.

In another area, who will save us from our leaders? The Russian States fought the Ottoman Islamists off n on for 400 yrs, bankrupting them to where they had to go Communist. Now they are trying for a reinactment of history with us and the middle east.

I have a 2011 World Almanac and Book of Facts, saying the USA oil reserves are 21.3 bln barrels. This supplies apx 35% of our needs.

Looking at Canada s oil reserves:178.1 billion barrels. It incl oil sands and condensates. They only have 10% apx the population we have.

So the equation is with 21.3 billion barrels supplying 1/3 of our oil needs, another apx 42.6 billion barrels would supply the rest of our oil needs.

Total,63.9 billion for all our oil needs.Whats 178.1 billion barrels from Canada, minus 42.6 billion barrels=135.5 billion barrels. So why put this money in the hands of people that want to keep the conflict going,so they can keep charging us 300 to 400% more for it?

The news this morning was 100 $ a barrel vs 14 to 30 bucks a barrel before the conflict started 20 yrs ago...

A reasonable country would be signing long term agreements to get all their oil from next door,Canada, also saving the transport costs of same...

In other news,a article over the past 2 weeks said the Bush admn wanted the price of oil driven up to where it was,by embargo and getting Iraqi and Iranian oil off the market.Conflict was a easy way to do this,to the detriment of our rank n file, and the 1 % at the top reaping the benefits/profits...

The war debt is putting us in debt for the next 200 to 300 years, the rich benefit as they own the stocks in the military industrial complex, leaving everyone else to pay and pay. What ever happened to remaining Swiss neutral, and buying from friendlies such as Canada?

Last week Russia signed a 25 yr long term contract to sell its oil to China,in other news,I read...Russian oil reserves:60 billion barrels, however, they only have apx 10% of the autos we have.

The thing is that its in most foreign nations interests to remain in conflict with us to get the higher oil prices from us.So,a longterm agreement with Canada takes that away from them, more conducive of world peace.

Yet another article I read over the past week, maybe it was www.blacklistednews.com or www.thedailysheeple.com it said 1 out of 3 have been put on welfare by the free trade agreement...who protects the US from its own Govt?

Another article I read says 20% of our population are at retirement age,so we really need the revenue for old age pensions, instead of making it legal to ship the jobs out of the country with free trade agreements and put 1/3 on welfare,so the 1% richest take all the benefits out of the system.

I told the Red Cross,on the 4 leaf clover sales,"if they want extra luck in N England, tell them to get natural gas space heaters. The avg heating cost of a home in N England is 4500 a yr. for heating oil.75% are on heating oil.Its 2250 a yr with natural gas. That saves apx 20 grand per household over 10 yrs..Sadly ,propane cost twice as much as natural gas.Electric is even less than natural gas,I got a 4500 BTU space heater,a infrared with blower, saves a lot off the oil main furnace I have.Use search engine for such things, look in builders suppy ,big box stores, hardware stores...

However, they should start a new business ,supplying natural gas to fill the propane tanks, and switch appliances to natural gas,n find a conversion unit to put inline to convert from propane to natural gas. Some space heaters burn either one.

Probably,2 or 3 space heaters would convert the whole house, placed in stategic places, around pipes ,basements,on each floor. There would be a extra delivery cost, but nowhere near the cost of propane."

T Boone Pickens, owner of Shamrock oil was promulgating wind energy farms,he sells electricity back to the power companies. In the last couple yrs, said we re crazy ,not to use the ridiculously low priced natural gas, especially for making electricity, instead of oil,& not export it.

Oh,and Los Angeles retrofitted their whole buslines to run on natural gas instead of gas and deisel. So why aren t school buses running on it to save 1/2 the price of fuel,as well as box end trucks?

Stats are 10% of oil reserves apx ,is the natural gas supply.I also read a article that the UK was close to being out of natural gas in the past mo..Israel found a vast offshore natural gas field in the past 4 yrs, they could buy from them.I read som African natural gas wasn t even being used, just burnt and wasted, such as in Nigeria...China bought rights offshore from India, and found a vast natural gas field there.

Before obama was elected,Governor Switzer of Montana said he could reduce our foreign oil dependency by15%, turning coal into synthetic gas,off a old German process. He just needed maybe 4 billion for start up costs.Never heard anything since.I t d make our dollar stronger by that much, needs to be a govt owned/operated corp, and the profits put back into the soc security, to save it.

Switzer.of Montana also said we can make a profit on synthetic gas :anything over $1.75 a gallon. So today we d double our money on such a investment, its the same with gasahol on the profit margin.\

For those of you in Commonwealth countries, you can tell your govts to do the same ,to stimulate the economy and save the dole system,as well as making jobs.Coal/and or grain shiploads in,gas mfg ,out of it,the money is saved, instead of imported oil.Spred the word...Also,the German synfuel from coal ,can make all three forms of fuel: diesel, reg gas as well as natural gas.

In case you didn t guess, the Borg was roughly parallel to the ottoman empire, not much of a stretch in the sci fi theme...
