Ritual? I don't think I really have one of those anymore. I was fighting dreaming for so long I'd wait till absolute exhaustion stepped in, then strip and fall into bed, usually asleep within 30 seconds.
Since my dreams are decent again (FINALLY!) for the most part, I guess I sort of have a ritual now...of course the typical brush teeth, wash face, set alarm routine...sometimes I read for a bit in bed again, or I do some relaxation/meditation exercises. Sometimes I get a good bedtime story and have a nice orgasm or two before drifting off to sleep...but it's not a nightly ritual. I sprawl across the whole bed like a rag doll and snooze til it's time to throw the alarm clock again!

routine
I make up my bed, turn on my lava lamps, lock my bedroom door, find something on tv, lay here with my laptop and look for threads to read, fall asleep online wake up an hour later and shut of the computer, flip through the channels one more time and roll over and go to sleep

I sit on lit read and post to threads, shut computer off, take a shower, if not to late, brush teeth, and comb my hair, wash with facial scrubs.........then
I get my winnie the pooh or snoopy jammies on, curl up under my sheets, flick the boob tube on, check out the flicks, then fall asleep watching tv.
oh and to answer your question whether or not I masterbate before bed...........once in a while, i will drown in a little fantasy and float into an orgasmic dream land........then fall fast a sleep.
