The thing about all these netflix/amazon/hulu/whatever shows is... they aren't really "TV" series, technically, since they are not broadcast on TV but rather are streamed online. Not that they arent great shows though- but I won't qualify them as TV shows if they are not actually on TV.

My favorite television, as in broadcast on TV, shows would be:

1) Game of Thrones
2) Star Trek- classic series. Something about those old Star Treks is just really cool, the storylines, soundtrack, characters- even though they are low budget I actually like it better than the newer series.

3) Star Trek- The Next Generation
4) The Simpsons. Love me some Simpsons.
5) Dr Who- prior to Matt Smith stepping down from the role (They should have ended the series right then.) And this is only the 2000s/2010 version, not the cheezy, low-budget seventies and eighties version, though some of those old Tom Baker and Peter Moffatt episodes still were enjoyable in a campy, low budget way.
6) Married With Children- classic TV
7) Beavis and Butthead. Funny and entertaining in a mindless way
8) Metalacolypse cartoon. Metal as fuck!
9) King of the Hill.
10) X-files. Some episodes were just beyond terrible, but some- it was creepy and entertaining at it's best.

1. Have Gun Will Travel

2. Bonanza

3. Gunsmoke

4. Star Trek

5. Outer Limits

6. Night Gallery

7. Law and Order SVU

8. The Avengers

9. Man From Uncle

10. Twelve O'clock High

Fuck, as a visual-centric person, there's a lot. But my list here compiles the top that actively gave and give me bonafide joy, from past to present.

The Three Stooges

The Benny Hill Show

The Twilight Zone (original)

I really liked Hannibal on Netflix, Blacklist is good, and Dexter.

I’ve never seen Game of Thrones.

I don’t have ten.

i'm old:

the honeymooners. jackie gleason is god.

the jack benny show. he can make me laugh just by standing still.

leave it to beaver. i can still remember larry, judy, miss crabtree, lumpy and eddie haskell after all of these years. and eddie haskell DID NOT grow up to be john holmes.

the ed sullivan show. where else could you get an opera singer, the supremes, a crooner doing broadway, a rumanian circus act and topo gigio all in 60 minutes?

alfred hitchcock presents. alfred hitchcock. and barbara bel geddes with that frozen leg of lamb.

thriller. many a night i went to bed scared out of my wits.

the toy that grew up. a series on the educational station that presented a silent movie each week. my first introduction to silents and i'm still a fan.

the dick cavett show. no one has ever done the talk show better.

absolutely fabulous. sweetie, darling, it's just like real life!

oz. because christopher meloni-naked. and lots of other naked men to enjoy simultaneously with the great scripts.

mrs. brown's boys. slapstick!

shameless. because they are.
