Good sex is a rare thing – and most of us know that it can be wonderful, exhilarating. In Mia Zorrrita's ‘Love Dreams’, it is like you are finally taking that wild hold-tightly-on hayride, that glorious hog ride, through sexville. As a poet and author myself, I can say that the writing is sharp, engaging and perceptive, a smooth flow through pages and pages of lovemaking. The protagonist expresses a freedom and indeed a trust that I think we all want to believe we can have, something that is still possible. Julio is the main male character for our protagonist ‘T’, and it is good that he is actually the sensitive, respectful, and, of course, highly-sexed, inventive and patient gentleman of love that is not often portrayed in the media as regards Hispanic men.
T is the older woman who daringly finally steps into a free expression of full, unabashed sexuality with dedicated lover Julio. You would not believe what these two have found. But does she want, or is she looking for another marriage? No! She certainly is not. She has found something more important, at least for herself, at her age. T is older than her handsome, hard muscle-toned Julio, a non-stop sex machine. Page after page render this fictionalized diary too hot to handle. Eventually you’ve got to lay it down to catch your breath. ‘Julio, I can’t take anymore.’ Well… when you exhaustively arrived to the book’s end, you want more. Will we find out more about the protagonist, who she is? Is it possible to build a protagonist, develop their character through sex? And I think to myself: This one lovely lady, everything about her - she would turn me on and I would just have to have some. Then I realize, I reflect – well, what about the other side? It took me a while to realize this was a person too who had other things, a life. And the writing, the writing is excellent; I am in awe how smooth it is. And this is erotic writing so I should in a way know what to expect. It gives some great insights on a woman's character. I have to say this- it’s exciting, never a dull moment in it! She gives herself these huge challenges to let herself be completely taken over in certain ways. She expresses a freedom and indeed a trust that we want to believe we can have and that still exists. I dare say it's that freedom, for women, that is so delicately wrought throughout the book.

This tale of erotic adventures of an older woman with a young man is a project of pure, straightforward joy for women. The tale is likewise the same for men. Perhaps it's to women that it most easily relates to and it's probably the smooth, unadulterated writing style of Mia Zorrrita that makes the 'autobiography' so richly accessible to all. She is a temptress and the route she gives us through these burning hot pages shows a pure and innocent acceptance of the joy and love of sex. Something we don't often hear about but when presented in the unsullied need and then performance of pure love, every single page becomes endurably edible. Her lover, Julio is absolutely wild in his passionate activity, and most important is that he is "a kind, decent, caring guy.... sensitive to my feelings" and this is whether his mood is brazen or tender, gentle or savage in lovemaking. She knows and appreciates that fact that she is in "an exquisite world of love, this magical place of shimmering dreams," and it will not go on forever. Guys! You dudes, listen to this, read this. There are women who do respond to our consistent loving care for their bodies. I mean this dude Julio demonstrates no end in his appreciation of his treasure. Her lovemaking with Julio advances through stages. And we wonder what will happen if and when Miguel, Julio's cousin reappears on the scene. The book is steaming hot and I do mean it.
3. Review by Roger de Brie
Writing erotica is an art that demands attention to the use of language and the insouciance with which one can dispense with its niceties when describing physical ecstasy. Mia Zorrita does this perfectly. It should also focus all its attention on the pleasure such ecstasies induce. For Zorrita's heroine, insatiable for such pleasures, the flesh is all-consuming. It would be easy in a book of this sort to be too 'literary', in filling out the text with niceties of plot development and leaving the intimate scenes to happen intermittently. Zorrita's heroine doesn't 'do' intermittent, for her hunger is unquenchable. She divides her time, mentally at least, between two male cousins, having given up the one sexually for the other, who is her match in matters of the flesh. The sex scenes are uncompromising in their descriptions and the willingness of the narrator to succumb ecstatically to male advances, only for her to direct operations herself with equal energy and alacrity. Her recollections are really a book of hours, for nearly all her time is filled either participating in steamy bedroom gymnastics or thinking about them. And the action is not confined to the bed. The narrator is what one might call a nymphomaniac, in that most of her waking hours are spent in anticipation of the prospect of physical pleasure and orgasm. As a diary, it is in theory never-ending, for she is a serial love-maker who has met the perfect supplier of her needs. It's also quite plain to understand that what we have here is a life that is being played out in reality by whatever lascivious and desirable woman lies behind what is surely a nom-de-plume. Mia Dorrita, however, sounds like a person who one would expect to be cavorting unceasingly in the manner she describes. The very name is redolent of desire and aching fulfillment. One might pity her partner if he were not fully capable of meeting her demands. There is too a sense in which the woman envisages a life beyond the bedroom but it is short-lived. Never has there been an erotic heroine so lusting to be given pleasure and satisfaction. But it is not just about that. This narrator is a real woman with a history and real human feelings. The way she finally gets to express them however is powerfully erotic.

Excellent writing from Zorrita renders page after page of her fictionalized diary as a fantasy, a dream come true. Eventually, along with T - 'Julio, I can't take anymore,' - I found myself putting the book down to catch my breath. Yes, I believe there are some great insights here on a woman's character. It is the beautiful nature of woman's freedom, so delicately wrought and effortlessly expressed throughout the book that makes it difficult for me to wait for the second volume. I'm expecting and hoping that there will be one. Until then, I will just have to read this first hot potato again.

This book is unputdownable for many reasons (unless of course you get inspired to give/receive pleasure elsewhere). It describes hot and heavy lust/love/sex yes, but it also depicts a woman who has lived in California during the 70's and 80's, post 2 divorces - and reflections of her full and challenging life experiences.
It's reflective, honest, and raw, unselfconscious. There is a Mia in every woman...

This story is more than a very hot sex thing - it's a start of a long series!

vicarious enjoyment
Wow this is a wild read with a wonderfully written book The author is joyfully sharing a relationship that is not only physically satisfying but mentally stimulating and a great friendship to boot. Don't be shy; everyone needs to examine their own relationship and this book helps for less than a price of a therapist.

8. I got your book. Been reading it on my kindle app. juicy. No wonder you are so vibrant and happy all the time . I guess I’m about 20% done. I’ve enjoyed it so far. It’s nice you are comfortable enough to write erotica, so strange to me that people don’t talk about what everyone does. Thanks for sharing with me, I appreciate it

Sexcapades!!! Girls don't usually write about sex the way you do. No inhibitions. And it's all fun. None of that whiny shamefaced stuff. Not stories. Just tellings. They have that avant-garde vibe, something like Almodavar.

I’ve been reading the book. I feel tired at night but your book keeps me awake and every time I pick it up I read for at least 10 minutes or so even though I have lots of stuff to do. It’s fun Seriously I’m very tired and reading is difficult but it holds my interest. Lol
It’s still holding my interest. And it’s not the type of book I tend to read but it’s got a story to it and the characters have a heart. It’s a good book as far as I’ve gotten. I’m not bored.
