I read this article, and was honestly surprised. Believe it or not, in Dallas there are a lot of gay people. I live in an affluent community in North Dallas, and have 3 long-time male couples as friends. Of the 6 men all but one are your typical middle aged, slightly overweight, overworked guys. I know one other younger gay guy from my previous job. He's queer as a three dollar bill, but in great shape, and dresses sharp.

I'm also friends with two lesbian couples, and 1 single. Of the five women, four of the five are in great shape and very fit. One is absolutely stunning, a 9.5 out of ten. If she was straight I'd definitely throw in the extra half point. Two are black, one is Scandinavian. Only one is a troll, short, obese, bad complexion, but she's the sweetest girl in the world.

Obviously, my exposure doesn't match the article premise at all.
