It is a chick flick. I didn't know you were a guy, lol. So I guess chocolat doesn't rate well with you either? :0D Chicago is very good, but the womens are way too skinny. Except for Queen Latifah, of course, who is just lucious.
Mkay.... We were soldiers absolutely floored me. See that if you haven't.
Death to Smoochy? I've been wondering about that for awhile now. Looked a little too risky for five bucks though. Maybe I'll give it a try.
After my roomie finishes watching The Patriot I'm going to watch Mullholland drive, or however you spell it. I'll let y'all know.

Robin Williams plays a disturbed host of a children's show, who is caught taking bribes to put rich brats on his show... he's a really skeezy guy, and swears like a mo-fo.
Edward Norton (Fight Club) plays a super nice, super naive, well intentioned wanna-be children's show host, as a purple dino named Smoochie. He gets his show, in William's character (Rainbow Randolph)'s old time slot, and Rainbow makes it his mission to kill or discredit or maim the damn big purple dino.
Soooo satiric and mean and dark, I promise you'll laugh your ass off.
watergirl said:1 hour photo was excellent, I have seen it! Did you see Adaptation yet? Weird weird...
Juggling theaters, as always!
But there's just one boy. I adore him, I'm having so much fun - the anticipation is delicious.
A foot of snow? We only got 6".
watergirl said:Weird good. I didn't think it was worth $8. Go for matinee prices, if you go. Catch Me if You Can - wait for the rental. No reason to see it big screen....
Gangs of New York - ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, sooo good... it's on my list for tomorrow, I want to see it again while it's in theaters.
watergirl said:Tampopo. It's like, this trucker teaches a widow to make really really good noodle soup at her little restaurant, and it's subtitled, and it's very odd and has some very sexy and some very bizarre goings on.
I love it. Get yourself a bowl of ramen and enjoy.
RomanHans said:Another excellent, off-beat Japanese movie is 'Shall We Dance?' Often described as a Japanese version of 'Strictly Ballroom,' but I think that's off-base...but if you have an appreciation of Japanese society and culture, parts of 'Shall We Dance' are absolutely hysterical!
