This one's gonna get weird (er). Will/should the second cop be charged?

Colorado man who fatally shot cop killer was mistakenly slain by police

A Colorado man who fatally shot a gunman who had just killed a police officer was himself slain by a responding officer who apparently mistook him for the cop killer, authorities said on Friday.

This is a situation I think I posted about here some time back when the Righteys were screaming about more guns everywhere, teachers need guns and so on.. Good guy intervenes, shoots bad guy. Cops arrive and shoot good guy before evaluating the situation. How does the second cop know the guy with the gun is the good guy or not?

I guess the moral would be, whether you're a good guy or a bad guy, never open-carry anywhere the police might be near.

And if you concealed-carry, it would be safest to immediately inform any cop you encounter of the fact, while keeping your open hands in plain view, and make it clear you are awaiting instructions.

Risks......his dumb ass fault for protecting a cop.

That’s exactly what Philando Castile did.

I love when DumBoBo breaks cover and reveals the true level of psychopathy festering in the rotting gray matter BoBo calls a brain.
