Ok, I know there was one like this before, but the search function hates me.

Last night I was doing something and I spilled some of my wine cooler on myself. I said to myself "Good job Grace."

Grace is not my real name, fyi.

So. . . do you all do things like this? Things that make you think . . . ok, I'm spending WAY too much time online.

OHHHHHHH lol. I get it. God I'm slow...

Yes, on occassion I will find myself thinking as though I'm ADR or Rose. And I guess in a sense, I am. (But in real life to those who know me, I'm Rox... or Roxy... or Roxanne. I've fooled everyone however, that's not my real name either.... aaaaaaaaaaaaaahahhahahah.)

I actually kinda wondered. If it was your real name. I know you said that you're a huge sting fan, and didn't he do that song 'roxanne'? And I know that 'a desert rose' is a sting song, and that's why you chose it. Coincidences like that happen, but are rare.

yea well, you know it's my real name. and now everyone who didn't, does. LOL

who's gonna be looking for me? especially when all they know is Roxanne... in Las Vegas... who's a nurse...

No one has ever stalked me and I don't see that changing any time soon.

To tell the truth I seriously don't think anyone would stalk me either, but I'm a big believer in better safe than sorry.

Well, I've been using the 'nick Vixandra too long, that count?

To the point at faire I'll introduce myself as Vix or Vixandra because I listen to that better then my given name. Which is far too bloody common.

You know you spend too much time on Lit when.....
you want to use smilies in face to face conversation. :D

okay that's me

Infact I remember one vid conversation with Master where I stopped and blurted out "Hey you match your smilies too!" It's amusing some times to see the :D pop up at the same time as a huge grin comes over his face...*giggles* but I know I'm guilty of the same.

hehe... yeah.. I do that too... And I actually started SAYING LOL to people. They always give me that same look like... "OOOKay you freak, get away from me..." *refrains from saying LOL anymore in text or outloud...* ;)

It doesn't happen to me with the nick I use here , but I have another name I usually use on other boards I write on which has become my actual alter ego .

Often it happens to me to think about myself using that name , but I am not too surprised by that cause it has always been my "nom de plume " I used since high school and university ( far before the internet era ) to sign my articles, poetry and novels :) :rose:

You know you spend too much time on lit . . .

when you know what time it is in places all around the world and can tell who has or has not yet had their morning coffee by the tone of their posting....

LOL I don't know about the coffee part, but I know what time it is in England, Phoenix, and Germany (although that's not cause of lit - my brothers stationed there right now).

Last night I actually had a dream about a user on here...

Mayyyybe that's a sign heh.

I always have to look at the clock twice because I automatically think Dublin time when I look at it.

When the fact that your adapter has failed and you are unable to get online for five days puts you in a baaaad mood, not because of email, etc., but because you'll fall behind at lit. I know I'll just eventually mark the forums read. In fact my last bitch was with my waning battery power. Don't know how long ago that was...it was first time online in days. I have a new, shitty but new, adapter now. And about six more bitches, but I won't bore anyone. Meh.
Also when you are thinking at work about how you will post something. but I have forgotten it now.
