At least you got some trick or treaters. Some years I have lots and some years not a single one. So far tonight, we're off to a slow start.

i got about 6-7 in a row and thats it.most the time i may get 1-2 for the whole night.

i always thought being called sir meant you was old and have kids and such.im 27 and still a kid myself

I know a lot of people feel old when kids call them "sir" or "ma'am," but you know, when I was a little girl I was told to call ALL grownups that, no matter the age. Granted, that was several years back and in the rural South, but still, you have to think a lot of kids are brought up to do that.
At least, I know all of us who got ma'am-ed tonight really want to believe that's still true ... should I be washing that gray right out of my hair? Hmmmm....

I call people at work "Sir" and "Ma'am" only because it sounds like proper ettiquette (and only then when it sounds like I'm a broken record). Yeah, they're typically between the ages of 17 and 25, but I couldn't care. Sometimes they bring up the fact they haven't ever been called 'sir' or 'ma'am' before, but unless they're insulted (none yet), what's the point?
Besides, sounds better than 'dick' or 'cunt'.

This worm rocks, as does the movie. I've always thought he was cool, despite his brief apperance in the movie. Now, that clown from "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" - THAT was scary! Never looked at Ronald McDonald the same again (not afraid of clowns though)!

You go to the doctor for one thing, and they call you the next day to tell you they found something else going on as well.
Got a call this morning at work, can I go to the doctor right now? Seems a blood test for surgery came back a little messed up......... Now I have to wait a day to find out A. nothing wrong, surgery takes place Tuesday or B. surgery put off while we run some more tests to see what is wrong.
Also, never look up a test on the net unless you really want to know what could be wrong with you. *Shudder*
Why didn't I listen to people when I was 20 and I thought I would live forever.

Oh god well not that bad but I have had the same effect with some of my sisters friends that are now 18 or so.
You know you are old when Profesional baseball players are younger then you.
Oh and football players. Vick is just a few months younger then me.

Guess it goes for any sport really, when you are constantly saying at least to yourself, I remember this player or that player, and how good they were.
I also prefer to call any adult, or even some children, especially the ones that are kind enough to hold open a door for my old ass, sir or ma'am.
I have run into a few adults who were actually offended that I called them Ma'am, because they said it was degrading to them, I'm not sure how, but I guess they didn't think of it as respectful.
