when,after hearing you sing...

He tells you that you should stop before our bird dies from the agony of listening to me.

Wasnt it just a little while ago that he used to ask me to sing?

Sigh...

(Now the fact that I cannot carry a tune in a bucket means nothing.)

Lol........it gets better trust me!

My daughter used to want me to walk her into class - that was only 3 years ago - now she asks me to drop her off at the end of the street.....what it would do to the reputation to be driven to the school gate by Mum (shock horror!).

The next thing will be holding hands wont it?

No mom,I cant hold your hand...what if someone saw me??????

I'm lucky yet. My kids and their friends think I'm cool. My son swears he's gonnamaryr me. Then again, he's not quite 5, so that might explain it.

Yep it is!!!

I'm lucky in the way that I'm a fair bit younger than my teenage daughters friends mothers so I'm still sorta cool - translates to I listen to the same radio station as them!

I will be a young mother of a teen next year.

That scares me more than my son telling me I cant sing...lol

It is scary!

My 13 (nearly fourteen) year old daughter borrows my clothes, make up and tampons! I suddenly realised that she's not really a child anymore.

Be scared, be very scared!

I am not allowed

to go to the cinema on Friday or Saturday nights because that's the night all the kids hang out there. "And MOM, it's SO uncool to be seen with your Mom there!!!!!"

*rolls eyes*

Y'all just wait --- it gets SOOOOOOOO much more fun.......
