Black men who won't back up black women when they're under physical attack by racist white men, are the lowest trash on Earth.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=833FC3vLDEk

I can deal with the enemy outside my gates. It's the ones inside that take us all down.

So you see white men as the enemy.....explains a lot.

Bigots gonna bigot!!:D

She didn't need help. She kicked his ass

Lol, dude got put in his place quick. Lmao

That's why he was still holding onto her hua?

Neither of you watch much less participate in much fighting do you??

Didn't think so.

That wasn't an ass kicking, it was literally a bitch slapping.....she can't hit hard enough, can't aim for shit, flailing in adrenaline.

The guy probably has a glass jaw like most and he took it like nothing.

He like most guys could probably take her hand a lot more than her hand could take his face.

There is such a thing as misogynoir, the hatred and abuse of black women, a special blend of racism and sexism. This type of fiery hatred has always existed since the nation was "founded". You see, black women are very resilient and self-confident, despite being told they are "less than" and it burns many racists and self-haters.

Then, folks wonder why many black women have to be on their guard and defensive at times. For example, a thread would be created in praise of black women's beauty, yet some folks enter those threads to air their grievances or trash the women. Funny, this type of behavior is never displayed in various other threads praising the beauty of Asians, Hispanics, blondes, redheads, etc.

Some folks want to continue to dog out black women as if they do not deserve respect, or deemed inferior. This is a sickness which is rather infuriating.

Misogynoir is real and society really needs to be upfront about how much hatred black women receive, sadly, even at the hands of some black men who have internalized racism. Yet, black women still continue to perservere!

Society is real about it.

Society condemns and rejects the behavior both commonly and institutionally.

That's why what that man did was illegal as fuck in 100% of the USA and he's almost certainly going to do some time for it, as he should, and she won't do a day because she was clearly within her right to self defense.

In fact he's fucking lucky she just kept slapping him around, after he didn't let go the first 1 or 2 times she could have dumped a mag into his ass killing him and gotten away with it. That's how much our society condemns what he did, we would have let her kill him for that.....100%.

Sure did. But it's still shameful to see a black man just standing there and only intervening to pull her back. In the 60s that white dude woulda been KO'd by a Black Power man for daring to touch a black woman like that. Cops woulda come, and black men's shotguns would be cocking all down the street.

Black men literally owe it to black women to jump in when a black woman comes under attack. They've been doing it for us for ages. If you're black you know why I'm saying this - you'd have seen many videos where black women come under attack and black men just stand there, watching it happen. That shit's got to stop.

I have a pragmatic stance on this. Black women have been having black men's backs like crazy, all the way back to the post-slavery late 1800s when white men kept black men down, or even further back than that. Black Lives Matter was started for Trayvon Martin by black women. Armies of black women march for black men killed by cops. Wanna keep black women fighting for us? Then black men need to reciprocate. Everyone hates African Americans - Asians, Hispanics, whites... we can't survive if we can't stand up for each other. We're not just allies, we're meta-family. Black people are all in this together - we will either fight together or hang separately. Black women, overall, get this.

Then a lot of black men also attack black women as a group, or don't stand up for black women, because all they can think of is the loud / thot / gangster / gold digger stereotype of black women. Trashy black women exist and they're sickening to watch. But many black men - like Tommy Sotomayor and many others of his ilk - have been punishing all black women over the behavior of a few. As a constant defender of the term "not all men are like that" I simply can't stomach this broadbrushing of black women.

Very good points!

I admit I only read his post because you replied. And I do agree, but I think black women in general get the shaft. There is a history of white feminism using the backs of black women to get ahead. So there is little support for them from any group.

But I still think kale chips should be like second worst. Because I either made them poorly or even the dog knows they are a lie.

I have never heard that neologism before. It's excellent.

Although upon seeing the word I first thought it was a film/fiction genre that I was glad I had never read.

I just listened to the clip for the first time and I didn't hear any racial references. I agree with you that real men would have jumped on him for reaching over the counter to grab that young woman. My opinion doesn't change regardless of race. It could have been a black man reaching over the counter to grab a young white woman. That deserves a tune up.

The racial point is valid because black women are strongly unique in how they do the foot soldier thing for black men. Any time you talk about chivalrous women, black women should be the first example that comes up.

Interesting how the clip is being interpreted differently by different people.

The prelude to all that is suspiciously missing, so I suspect that she’d been verbally abusive towards the salesperson, and he lost his cool.
However, that’s no excuse for that hooligan physically assaulting a woman, and I’m sure he wouldn’t have assaulted her of she were White, but I suspect she was no angel either.

But I kind of understand her partner’s reaction, especially if she started the argument.
Black men are perceived as being potentially dangerous by some (I recall a clip where a guy described how White women used to cross on the other side when they saw him on an empty street at night).
If he put his hands on the clerk, he could have risked escalating the conflict or causing fear and being even shot or prosecuted if the security guards or shop owner were racists.

That's my interpretation strictly of the tape, I don't Know much about the interpersonal or gender dynamics within the African-American community.

Why do you assume that she provoked him by being verbally abusive? There are lot of unstable people running around of all ethnicity. There is very little factual evidence to consider. Try changing the color of all the people in the vid and see if you come to the same conclusion.

One can't feel that they're posting on the GB, if they didn't encounter such out of the blue comments.

I said "that hooligan wouldn't have assaulted her, had she been White".
And I'm not defending assaults on women, either.

My main point was that I have a different take on why the two Black male employees' (not customers, I got it wrong) acted tje way they did.

If it was a two way sort of incivility that led to the fight -- and she'd been uncivil too, as I suspect
the MacDonald CEO would have protected his business and sided with the customer. It all sucks, but they acted wisely - not cowardly.

Yes, we're all making assumptions
-you: that the thug bashed her without provocation:
-me: that she might have contributed to the conflict too, judging from the cautious attitudes of her male colleagues.

Where's my racism in that?

She's the cashier. The man was a customer. And it wasn't her partner, but a co-worker.

Lol indeed, my attention span is a bit off and I'm not too articulate today either. I realized it on watching the clip the second time.

It's a fascinating story because it's incomplete (the leadup to the assault had been edited out - either to save space or because the person didn't like that part) , and we're all using our imagination to fill in the blanks.

Incontestably the White guy is a thug (and probably a racist)who assaulted someone else, and the Black guys weren't very assertive in trying to subdue him.

Some concluded that they were cowards, whereas I thought (judging from their body language) that they acted wisely.

You know what I hate worse than racist white men?

People that put everyone into one of a few groups & say all act this way &/or need to be treated a certain way.

Not all men are thugs of either race, & not all women making claims against men are telling the truth.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time. Just exchanging thoughts here. I know that you gave a reference to him being black and would never do that to a white girl. I'm suggesting that if the crazy customer who is either white or black and reaches over the counter and grabs a young female who could be white or black he should be pinned to the floor begging not to get beaten. Women should always be treated with respect even if they are undeserving by their actions.

My point if that we have no way of knowing based up what we've seen and heard. We can't assume that she is a "typically angry back girl." Btw, thinking of Tomi Lahren, Ann Coulter, Ingram and the rest they are the ones who are agree. I think they believe that the anger sells their product. Many Black women have a damned good reason for being mad.

We need to investigate the intersectionality of sexism and racism here.

The left doctrine teaches that men helping women is sexist, that even opening a door for a woman is a microaggression. They teach that women, especially strong, independent black women don't need a man's help.

Wut do?

But really, those men in the video, I think they are just stupid. None of them saw the signs of this situation escalating and intervened before it got to that point. After the man grabbed her like a ragdoll, they all just stood there for a minute, mouth breathing. When they did take action they grabbed the girl when they should have grabbed the man.

Really, it's not the black guys' fault.

Nope. You know whose fault it is? Beyonce.

Some people, over the years, would blame things like this on people pushing things like #MeToo & the "Women's Lib" stuff. Personally, LONG prior to #MeToo, I saw an issue with the idea of "Women's Lib", b/c that phrasing seems to say all women think alike. It's just like the studies & all that which have said "Men think about sex every ___ seconds"... Not all of us!

Getting back to my Beyonce blame, I used to listen to the radio, & almost-simultaneously, the same group of women recorded & released "Independent Woman" & "Bills, Bills, Bills". One says they can support themselves, the other says if you don't have the $, you don't have a chance with them, both became hits.
