I don't think it is that much "randomly selected"... Why, you ask? Because on March 4th update, one of my story was featured. On March 7th update... another of my story was featured!

I think they might just put any excerpt you submit in a queue, on a first-came-first-served basis...

But hey...

I'm just making assumptions based on almost no evidence...
