Religious fanatics of all types..I come from an Islamic background..and I swear..every lousy time we hear about a terrorist attack...it's an 80% chance it was commited by some fanatic or another,and I must have really bad luck as well because it seems on those occasions..I get this unique need to go to the Majid{Mosque for those of you that dont know}..only to see some protest against everyone comeing and going from the Majid because some fanatic bombed a bus or is in the news for one horrible action or another.I really do despise this.

Okiedokie I have vented now...feel free to go to another thread.

I think if more people lived by that credo, and kept themselves (privately) straight with whatever Supreme Being they chose, the world would be a much better place.

What i do think about protesting and bombing in regards to religious matters is that the protesters are a bunch of fools with not enough to do and the bombers are a bunch of cold blooded killers.

I do not beleive in converting anyone to anything unless it's a female out of her clothes.!

I do like a good discussion about God, Religons and about how they relate to life. I have not encountered that here and i do not expect to.

I do like a good discussion about God, Religons and about how they relate to life. I have not encountered that here and i do not expect to.

You'd be surprised at the really intense and thoughtful discussions one can find here. Start a subject that interests you and see if it goes anywhere. If it doesn't, start it again some other time or at some other time of the day. There are different "feels" to Lit at different times of the day/night and at different places during the week, too.
