As a true son of the South, and having been raised on "chicken legs", I do not see any denegration in being compared to the noble fowl. Chicken legs fall into the delicious category.
However, if your son seems to think your lovely legs are akin to the banyard birds, perhaps a trip to the Optomitrist is in order.
