You cannot have your grandfathers' fobs

I don't have my grandfather's fob. :eek:

I do have his old lighter though. :cool:
 
Some of the fobs I have from the late 1800's and early 1900's aren't legal to wear. Other's I can't wear into the courthouse because they're obscene. Great grampa musta been a pervert. :D

What REALLY pisses me off is that almost every time I wear one of my expensive pocket watches to the courthouse they ask me to take it off and run it through the scanner. I refuse for 2 reasons.

1. I don't see anyone else having to remove their watch for a special scan.
2. Some of my watches are worth more than the scanner is and if it "disappears" during the scan, there's no reimbursement. Solid gold is expensive to replace.

Usually a supervisor just tells them to let me in.
 
I have one of grandpa's key fobs. It's engraved with his name and address. Prolly, so an honest person would return his keys, if lost, back in the 50's and early 60's.
