Jeeze this place has changed quite a bit in a year or two.
 
I remember when a day's worth of posts fit comfortably on one page.

And we had 6 forums.

And no one had avs.

And there was no PM system.

And we read our email by firelight 'cause lights weren't invented yet.
 
I remember when Laurel was the "Madame" and had no kitty AV at all, when Debra, Whispersecret, DCL, Madame Pandora, et al, used to call everyone.. EVERYONE newbies until they were at Lit for at least 6 months or more.
 
I remember back in the day when we didn't have these newfangled thingies. When we wanted entertainment, we grunted at each other. When we wanted something to eat, we killed it with a stick. And there were no flame wars cuz the only guy who could make fire was killed by the high priest for hubris.

I remember the very first time someone went on a rant about how the board "sucks now". I believe it was SouthernHelle who did it.

I like it like this. It's rocking without stopping, never a dull moment, a thrill a minute. My kind of place. Like Daytone beach in mid march and drinks are on the house.

I remember the discussion on the board what to change member titles to, when they were still Junior Member, Member etc.

Laurelina wasn't even a Madame yet!
 
OMG! I remember when everyone put HTML links in their location field so they'd have av's.
