Nemesis-X got the call... yet another covert mission to a spaceship on a remote Pacific Island... but when they got there there was nothing, just a crater, but that fitted the profile.
"Warp can you track whatever landed here?" he turned to his college, Julie Connors, a complicated Cyborg codenamed Warp, she was enhanced with just about everything, her eyes, ears, hell even her blood had microscopic robots running around... for here it had all started at a young age, lukaemia was ravaging her body, and the doctors had to do something, so a military project come to the rescue, it had only ever been tried in a crude form on one other guy before, but even with his "upgrades" he was turned by a vampire, making the madman a deadly force, but for Julie, this was life...
"Yessir," she replied, her cold logic oblivious to his natural charm as she calculated the most likely tracks made from the centre of the crator, only to be suprised by the data, "Sir, your not going to believe this, its down there..." she pointed down.
"I don't understand what do you mean down there?" with his silky fine but strong blond hair brushing at his shoulders, the former wrestler looked down seeing nothing but dirt...
"Whatever it was that landed here, is burrowing, there's no land tracks and I'm picking up a signature that I can't identify, right under us", by contrast her complexion was sullied by the metallic supplements throughout it, her own hair short and rich brown. With exoskeletal metal strips bracing her bone structure to increase her stability and strength she seemed to be some kind of antithesis to beauty herself, although less in a punk, gothic or overt way, it was just her lot in life, that biocybernetic circuitry system that keeps her alive and functioning, and enhanced her abilities far beyond that of most humans, is also a double-edged sword...
"Sounds like a job for Pyx," the overly muscular leader said as he looked down at the strange metallic gargoyle-like creature at his feet, "Pyx, follow," he'd said. In truth it was more like an alien pet they'd met on an earlier mission. It could morph its body shape into pretty much anything but it always had the same fluid metallic surface and its size remained relatively constant... when the energy that held it together was drained it became basically a large puddle, or when it got worried it sometimes morphed into a dense stone which was smaller than its usual size. It seemed to be a master of mimicry that they trained as a pet that became a useful team member.
(Other history and team members - Danny's powers are time-based, he can create "wrappers" around areas of space like a bubble that has sped up or slowed down time in them... he can also time travel but only in a ghost-like form where his consciousness leaves his physical body and travels an alternate dimension, which is dangerous, because his former girlfriend Jacqueline (codename Psygnet) is a highly unstable villian that cohabits his body... (normally he keeps her suppressed) theres also Zap, who has jet black hair that occasionally arcs with electricity, and an alternate Crystalline/Energy form that absorbs energy and an emotional nightmare dude, Darkshine, who has three thermo powers, heat, cold, darkshine, which he can either release from his body, or create mentally like a pyrokinetic - but also cold and that indigo flame of his mysterious darkshine power, most of the usual X-Men are around but many are different since this is an alternate universe history here isn't all the same, for example Professor X died however his school for Gifted Mutants continues to run, Danny did much of his mutant training in the past when Professor X was alive although Danny himself was in his ghost-like form at the time... Cyclops/aka Scott Summers is in a coma after Rogue absorbed his powers instead of those of Carol Danvers, which means she has eyebeams instead of flight and superstrength but can absorb others as normal, another major difference is that Banner/the Incredible Hulk is a doorman/bodyguard of the morlocks and cannot change back to his human form and Spiderman still has his black suit)
As for Erotica I'm sure you can find many opportunities, and interesting ideas from this setup... feel free to continue the plot... (however note the characters here are all copywritten, not just the Marvel ones but Nemesis-X belongs to me)
