Yet another curious newbie

Hi there. I'm not one for writing personal ads as a general rule, but this seems a good place to get my...*ahem*...feet wet.
I am 41, married, and happily so. I have always been curious about the bdsm lifestyle, and am interested in learning more. I'm a very good student, and though I tend to be a bit on the sarcastic, cynical, and perhaps even bitchy side, I tend to respond well with certain types of Doms (in my very limited experience of course).
I'd like to find someone to chat with who would be willing to help me to discover more in this lifestyle.

Depending on where in SC you are, you should be able to find a BDSM education/support group within easy driving distance. You should be able to find one within an hour drive or so (or less) unless you REALLY live in an out-of-the-way location. There are groups in Columbia, 2 in Myrtle Beach, at least one in Charleston, 3 in the Greenville-Spartanburg area, and if you are willing to cross state lines you can find at least one in Asheville, 3 or 4 in Charlotte, and in Wilmington, in North Carolina and there are groups in Savannah and Augusta, Georgia as well.

If you are looking for online interaction only, then the location of the person claiming to be a Dominant is pretty much irrelevant. If you want to learn about what real people do, I suggest you check out the realtime groups in your area. I've been active in the NC/SC/GA BDSM scene for over 10 years and just recently relocated to NC from Columbia, SC in January, '09 and would be happy to steer you to a nearby support group.
