We've seen FISA violations in the past from the FBI, now it appears we have the same on a huge scale from the CIA. which has no domestic role in surveilling the American people. Note, this comes to us via two Democrat Senators:

CIA has been secretly collecting data on Americans in bulk, senators say
The program operates under the authority of Executive Order 12333

By Edmund DeMarche | Fox News

The Central Intelligence Agency has conducted a secret, bulk surveillance program without congressional approval for years and two senators have called for new information about the program that includes data on Americans, according to a statement on Thursday.

Sens. Ron Wyden and Martin Heinrich, both Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee, posted an April 13, 2021 letter they sent to Avril D. Haines, the director of national intelligence, and William J. Burns, the CIA director, in an effort to learn more about that program.

Their letter to the top intelligence officials was partially declassified on Thursday. The two accused the CIA of conducting the program "entirely outside the statutory framework that Congress and the public believe govern this collection, and without any of the judicial, congressional or even executive branch oversight that comes with FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] collection."

The program operates under the authority of Executive Order 12333, the document that broadly governs intelligence community activity and was first signed by President Ronald Reagan in 1981.

The CIA and National Security Agency have a foreign mission and are generally barred from investigating Americans or U.S. businesses. But the spy agencies’ sprawling collection of foreign communications often snares Americans’ messages and data incidentally.

The Capital Police went into R Senators offices and took pics of secret shit!

They didnt deny it!

So don’t do illegal shit.

I laughed when I learned that Manafort and Gates were caught communicating with Russian criminals. Did they really figure that their calls weren’t being tapped at the other end?

As noted, this was a Republican move (Ronald Reagan), and it doesn't empower the CIA to collect on Americans (except when they come up in collection on a foreigner). Collection on Americans would come under NSA.

The deep state is starting to get eaten by other things that lurk in the depths.

There is always a calmness and dismissiveness about the Deep State
by those who think their party and leaders are in power and in control
followed by great consternation when they think the others are in control...

;) ;)

The bureaucracy laughs at such foibles when it hosts cocktail parties.

They're operating under Part 1 (1.1) (d) (2). Along comes word definition creep and then all sorts of doors open. Define parents at school board meeting as "terrorists" and you've got new data to mine.

Broaden the term far enough over several administrations, democrat and republican, and soon enough everyone will fall under the definition of 'terrorist.' Communist China here we come.

Terrorists don't even need to use violence anymore.

In snowflake nation, all you have to do is utter the benign phrase,
"I'm a conservative (/Libertarian)" to cause a complete meltdown.

A terrorist in no longer a physical threat as much as a mental threat...

Sticks and stones
may break my break my bones
but words will always terrorize me.

The deep state has always been a fear.momger porn for the right wing.

There is an establishment that is interested in maintaining a stable and predictable government. The reason for that is that unpredictable and unstable governments are not beneficial to society. That establishment is apolitical typically.

All this means is that the CIA exists. We knew that.

No dope, it means the CIA is acting outside of its legal authority. It has zero authority to surveil the American people or to operate inside the territorial limits of the United States, hence the alarm of the two Democrat Senators involved who leaked the information.

Well, stats show the highest amount of political donations from federal departments go to the Democrat Party, so draw your own conclusions.

And what does this mean:

These folks give donations to causes they believe in like what normal folks do

Or

According right conspiracy turd, they are all in a grand plot to do what exactly?

See how innuendo works🤷

The far left lives in a dream world that the far right trolls with boogie men. The lunatic fringe is real. The deep state isn't.

They are at war with the American people. They have set the CIA against the people with a gigantic surveillance program that violates the limits of its legislative authority. The FBI was caught doing the same thing. the DHS has issued an order classifying Americans who hold opinions different than the government as terrorists. They depend on nitwits like you to misunderstand their intentions and hope you breed another generation of stunted offspring who will accept their totalitarianism as facts of normal life and be good little sheep.

PS: If you don't like what I did there, learn some fucking manners.

Apparently they are domestic terrorists now.

Florida school board member details harassment she faced from anti-maskers.

A school board member in Brevard County, Fla., is detailing the harassment and disturbing treatment she and her family have faced from anti-maskers. Speaking at the Brevard County School Board meeting held on Tuesday, October 12, Jennifer Jenkins shared her grievances about the challenges they are facing as a result of the pandemic.

In a clip of the meeting, Jenkins noted her hesitance about verbalizing her concerns given the threats she's faced over the last few weeks. But now she feels obligated to speak out. "I've tried not to talk about this stuff publicly," Jenkins said.

She went on to explain where the problem lies as she recounted the harassment she's endured. "I don't reject people coming here and speaking their voice," Jenkins said. "... I reject them following my car around. I reject them saying that they're coming for me, that I need to beg for mercy."

"I reject that when they are using their First Amendment rights on public property, they're also going behind my home and brandishing their weapons to my neighbors."

That is domestic terrorism, sure as anything ever done by the SLA or the Weather Underground.

Heavy shit, but none of that would constitute war with the American people.

Like I said, we need something like the Church Committee hearings. Periodically, in the CIA's case.

War: an organized effort by a government or other large organization to stop or defeat something that is viewed as dangerous or bad.

Thus the War on Poverty, The War On Cancer, and in this case, The War Against the Privacy of the Individual, the Constitution, and The Fourth Amendment.

IF the deep state exists, then what are it's aims?

It's not just a question of who they are, but what are they trying to do? What is the goal of the deep state?

It should be obvious: To gain as much wealth, power, and control as possible. To be able to concentrate as much wealth and power as they can in their hands. Simple human ambition. Nothing mystical about it. It's the same as what the communist dictators want.

HOW do they attain that? By getting laws passed that remove obstacles toward limitless acquisition of wealth and power. Removing laws against price fixing, corporate regulations, monopolies, consumer protection, and environmental protection. Passing laws allowing for unlimited surveillance and monitoring of citizens, eliminating protections against search and seizure. Restricting access to information that goes against the "party line." Manipulating public opinion so as to deem any measures against the above agenda to be "socialist" or otherwise unpatriotic or unconstitutional.

This is how the deep state works. Oddly, they were successful in somehow convincing a large swath of the population that the previous administration was "Fighting the Deep State" when in fact, if you step back and look at it, he was actually their greatest champion. His policies were intended to do exactly what the Deep State wanted: To remove obstacles of attaining wealth and power by the top financial and industrial elites, and successfully convincing the public that to do otherwise would be "Socialism." Then trying to restrict the press who called him out on his abuses of power.
