Yes, it's Another Question About Vibrators.

Okay, so I usually clean my little collection of friends...toys, whatever you choose to call them. Mine have names but that's irrelevant.

So, mine were in some...places recently and needed a good cleaning and I think I cleaned one of them a little too thoroughly. I accidentally got water in the motorized part and now it's not buzzing or vibing or doing all those little perks that the standard male penis can't do.

Have I killed it? Should I try new batteries instead of typing this dumbass thread?

Insight and experience would be helpful, thanks.

How long ago was this? Maybe it just needs to dry out.

(By the way, next time you stick a vibe in your ass, use a condom :p).

First let it dry out for a day without batteries in it. Then put new batteries in and see what happens. Sometime this will work.

Don't feel bad i fried one with a different kind of wetness after only 5 months and it was my favorite!! Who knew there were orgasm limits on these things.

it could be dying...I've killed vibrators with my demands. And if I can kill a machine, what hope does a man have of satisfying me?

Cute, lilminx.

For fear of sounding like the girl who cried "MY VIBRATOR DOESN'T WORK!" I felt I should share that I took out the batteries, put them back in, and it's showing signs of life!

It's breathing!

This is good news.

I could fry it?

This scares me.

I always saw the vibrator/female relationship to be a beautiful union with longevity.

Maybe for you, but for me vibrators and men have short lived relationships with me. On the upside, I splurged for a great vibe 6 months ago and we're still going strong. Maybe it's for real this time :)

Sometimes it is easy to kill those precious things off. My girlfriend told me she was going to town with one of hers and it started sparkin' and smoke was everywhere... Damn...that was one good orgasm I guess. Just glad she didn't catch anything on fire.

I did that to a lover once.

Seriously.

I'm so hot.

Oh I loved that vibe it was a Lady Dragon with a 360 degree rotating head and rotating beads in the shaft with reverse direction. On the bright side the clit stimulator on it still works.

But I have replaced it with a Beyond 2000 which has a computer chip in it. This one seems to be standing more of a chance.

i've noticed that if i use the fancy energizer super strong batteries, they kill the motor. i've been using generic cheap batteries on my new lovelie, and so far, so good.

That's sort of what's happening with mine...she's not dancing around like she should be, but she's got the clit thing going on pretty well still.

I have so much to learn.

If you lose her, is there a number you can call which will detect her whereabouts via radar?

I haven't gone through airports yet and if they want to take her out of the bag and inspect her let them. I will laugh while they try and figure out how to operate it!;)

I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who's got hers named!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Alexandraah.

What's a boy doing in this thread?

Perv.

1) I'm not a boy anymore, although the other description I can't deny.

2) There's a reason they're called "marital aids".

I'm thinking now that vibrators should be more like cars.

We should get to trade them in for a newer model and use their resale value toward our purchase.

Anyone got a blue book on these things?

Good insurance?

some tips if you're traveling with a toy on an airplane

1) TAKE OUT THE BATTERIES -- you *really* don't want it to accidentally turn on at any point during your travel.

2) if you're checking a bag, put the toy in that bag. when they go through your carry on they're bound to find the phallic looking object in your bag interesting, and if they're men they'll probably find it vaguely threatening. best to not chance it.

3) if you still have the box it came in, put in in that. that way, even in your bags are searched, it's unlikely that some security guard will put his or her grimy mitts all over it.

um... not that i know from experiance or anything....

Incase anyone cares.. and might not know.

Only use NON Alkaline batteries and water based lubes with vibrators
