I know exactly how you feel. I broke up with my bf of 11 1/2 years last September. When you are ready to move on, don't be afraid to put yourself out there. You will find someone. If I were closer I'd give you a try, but I'm at least 12 hours away depending on where in NY you live.
I know you probably don't want to hear this, but everything happens for a reason.

I know how you feel. When my ex and I finally split, I hated being alone at night....that's when it was the worst for me. Even though I knew it was the best. Luckily, I got custody of the dog so I wasn't totally alone. Things will look up for you soon. Something good will happen when you least expect it. If you are looking for something serious, may I suggest eharmony? I met someone from there in January and our interests are very similar. The process is neat, and although I was leary at first, I'm glad I did it. Chin up!

I don't think that it's for marriage only...you take a personality profile and then your'e matched with people. Then you choose who you want to start something with. Then you ask 4 multiple choice questions and they ask you. then there are some short answer questions for both too. Just be up front and honest about what you want. It's great that you know what you want and won't settle. It was just a suggestion.
