Back from the wilds of the road! As I mentioned in a reply, another 4,000 miles down in my book of travels! Unfortunately, not too many outdoor photos as the weather was in the 40's on the warm side in most of the areas I wanted to try shots in, not to mention the fact it was pouring most of the time! Don't get me wrong, a good rainstorm makes me feel right frisky, but doesn't agree with snazzy electronic equipment so well! Will have to peruse what I got tomorrow after work, must go nab a couple hours of sleep after this 15-hour day on the road...yes my arse is numb!

But just to tease a little....I *did* get my jewelry upgraded, so pix of my new shiny 12-gauge braided metal nipple rings will soon be forthcoming! As well as the few shots I did get outdoors, not sure how they are yet, on a beach on the northern end of the Oregon Coast *brrrrr* It was a lovely trip overall, will pop in tomorrow (actually today!) evening and start up some threads again. Blanket kudos to the many beautiful pictures posted while I was gone, what a superb group of ladies n' gents (and I use those terms VERY loosely, of course!). Good to be back Lit

Sorry they're not up to my usual picture caliber, but I just couldn't resist tossing up at least a couple initials of my new metal I am having some difficulty convincing my camera it needs to focus on the shiny things, so it's a bit hard to tell but they are a gauge larger than my old ones and the ring itself is actually 3 metal strands twisted together. Two are silver and every third twist is a purple metal. The balls are hematite. Promise I'll get better ones up after I sleep and work! It was hard to resist flashing all the truckers on my way home <eg>

Heavy Metal...

Yes Smoke honey, the rings are twisted all the way around. It makes for a *most* interesting sensation when they are moved through the holes, especially considering how very sensitive they've become after being pierced! I guess you could say my rings are ribbed for my pleasure, heehee!

I've been a bit inspired to attempt to explain the feeling of having this done to my body, both the initial piercing and this "upgrade". For me, my 'body mods' are more than just ink, more than just a pretty picture or a piece of metal. They each represent something very special to me. I actually dubbed my nipple rings my "Reclaiming Piercings". The reasons for that are varied, and much to complicated to bore you with here Anyhoos, onto the tale...

My initial piercing was awaited with excitement and not a slight amount of wonder, with a little fear tossed in...how much would it hurt? (Not that I don't enjoy pain, but...) How would they look? How long would it take until they healed? Fairly run-of-the-mill thoughts about letting someone put a very sharp object through your skin! The antiseptic prep was delightfully chilly with intent to clean *and* to get things nice and perky to make sure they were well-aimed. As he readied to do the first one, I tilted my head back into the chair to not reduce the sensations with visual input. The slightest sensation of something touching and then IT came...the sensation of the point piercing my flesh, piercing that which feeds new life, that which in part represents all that is Female, that which is bared under the light in the Drawing Down of the Moon. I could *feel* every millimetre of the metal move through my skin, it seemed almost on a cellular level. One sheer bolt of sharp pain staggered straight back into my breast, travelling through my body, the energy seeming to come to a rest deep in my womb as my breath caught. It was over quickly, my gaze moving down to stare, amazed at the sight of a sharp-ended bar of steel through the base of my left nipple. As he prepared my right side, I realized I had a warmth spreading through my chest, my breath had quickened, and I was almost in that space where every single sensory input is magnified extraordinarily. I remember the music that was playing, the murmur of voices out in the front of the store, the smell of antiseptic and sterile supplies. I remember how wet I became as he readied to pierce again. This time I watched, fascinated, as the second piercing needle went through. Again that acute sensation of it sliding through my flesh, a pulse seeming to connect my breast to my cunt as the steel cleanly moved through me. Sensations rippled through my groin as, one at a time, the bars were pulled through the rest of me and the rings were fed in. Clamped tighly around shimmering balls of Tiger's Eye, my rings shine proudly, adorning my breasts which are warm with desire and endorphins at this point. It is my first view of them with such decoration, I am instantly in love and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this was right, this was the time to do it, this was the beginning of a new chapter in my life...the Lady is smiling her sweet smile, nodding proudly at Her child...

...Thanks for letting us share the experience. I had no idea it was more than something that just hurt like hell for a moment. I've heard and read of the altered state of consciousness that can come from appropriate (?) application of pain, but *cluck, cluck* have never attempted it myself, except by accident of course. And the new photo of the end result is really nice. Where did the great all-over tan come from if it was raining?
