yes it is, you want to create a thread for smart people from the Uk, what you are doing is creating a thread that has already failed, with the added delight that anyone with ahlaf a brain should realise that smart UK people will already be on the UK threads and dont need a thread telling them that they are smart...sheesh

"UK Threads" in plural eh? I only see one, which is a general thread, and is so long, and posted to so frequently, it's not actually that good for getting into if (A) you're new and (B) you don't sit at your computer all day continually refreshing the page!

Besides, what I was actually doing was creating a sub thread based on the geek/nerd threads (all two of them) that have popped up.

Anyway, thank you so much for hi-jacking my thread. Although next time if I start a thread which you don't like, please, just don't read it in the first place, then we're both happy.

I'm glad the rest of the people on lit are more friendly than you.

All I want is for you to leave me alone if you don't like my thread, so then you insult me.

I'll say this one more time - If you don't like a thread, then don't read it, or at most report it to a forum mod if you think you have a good reason, but do not hi-jack a thread of mine again.

Speaking of which, I am practicing what I preach because I have reported you, now leave me alone.
