...too hard that is. Metro Atlanta may be closed tomorrow. Right now they are saying we may have 3" of snow by 9:00AM. I know any other city could handle it but hey we are special.

Hearty little town you got there, love.

I understand the reason your Braves lose in the playoffs every year is because the other team throws the ball too hard.

she did say 3" right? Please tell me you are kidding Julia!! Hell i remember when i was in HS they didnt even send us home from school til there was 3 inches of snow on the ground!

Schools shut down in Calgary, for only one day this year and it was because it was a total with wind chiil and all of about - 72c

Yep I said 3", that's right, we only get this kind of weather maybe 2 to 3 days a year so no one can handle it, it is not something we have to deal with on a regular basis.

Nitelight, don't mess with my boys, as far as I know they all have better looking butts than you, of course you could prove me wrong with a Kodak moment.

Dang you had to put it like that didn't you. Yes it is but a picture would be worth 1,000 of your words.

I know the feeling too :) The wife is Crying about us having 12 inches of snow here in Mich.... Ohioans go figure.... But at least she is happy when she has me to keep her warm from the cold tho... that does put a smile on her face.. :)

Tough talk from someone who admittedly is from "the swamps of NJ"

It's really, really bad.

I saw two frozen bodies on the side of the road. Each had a gallon of milk and a loaf of white bread under each arm.

In Atlanta we treat any threat of snow like a nuclear attack.

Metro Atlanta closed, go figure. We do live in the "South" after all, heck they Charlotte wipes out the stores of ALL milk and bread with the threat of half an inch of the stuff. Southern cities just don't see it that much therefore don't have equipment, little to none actually, to try and deal with it. Know the feeling JA.

Here in DFW, people panic at the hint of snow or ice. We got some ice last Tuesday night & most of the city was shut down Wednesday. Of course, department stores were open & all the people who couldn't possible drive to work managed to drive out to shop-go figure. The grocery stores were mobbed all day Tuesday. We just don't get enough ice or snow down here for people to know what to do.

Snow?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

We've gotten 14 inches since Saturday...and here I was, telling people MN isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is...*sigh*...we are supposed to get more throughout the week. Anyone want to take me and the munchkin in? I'd like to move somewhere warm...or at least some place with no snow.

Sammyjo come on down, guests are always welcome.

Don't mind Ambrosious he is a snow chicken, I cannot wait to play in it. (crossing fingers, dont let it miss us don't let it miss us)

I just hope we get a ton of it, so I can lay in bed all day and sleep and catch up on my book readings and sleep. I would love to see some snow. (tapping heels together and saying Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow)

I've seen the footage on the news when a Southern city gets snowed on, cars slidin' off the road, spinning cookies. It's good entertainment for us in the North, where driving on ice is a way of life.

I do wonder though if y'all have furnaces. What do you do when the temperatures drops to like thirty degrees. I can't imagine you have fireplaces, do you?
