Yahoo IMVironments

For anybody who doesn't have the new Yahoo messenger program, it's very cool.

They only have something like 14 "IMVironments" but I can see this going a long way.

For instance, there is one that features the band Garbage. It shows photos of the band members and you can have it play one song, Androgyny.

Ok, color me the totally unhip suburban mom, but I didn't know this band existed. I'm ready to buy the cd now.

Yahoo is always asking me to update to it when I log in, but then it dosn't download !!!!!!!!

You know, I had the same problem too. Had to try and download several times in one night before it actually went through. Don't know what the deal is, but it was worth the hassle in my opinion. Good luck with getting that going.

I have been using Yahoo mesenger for 18 months, got the new Inviroments one on 1036 , really fucked up my computer , got 1045 now and that is ok ....

Have any of you been having problems with offline messages, actually not receiving them ?......

Try to download it from a different source... I know you are just going to say it can only be downloaded from Yahoo, true?

Well then click on one of the other country options that are on the home page for Yahoo, this will take you to a different access site to obtain it, then follow the lead to the messenger update.

The best place really to download Y messenger is to go to www.yahoo.com at the top the second choice is messenger , click that , but if you already have messegner , disinstall the old one , so you make a clean install.....I find if I instal over another one , I never get a clean install .........I always save to disk or programmes .........if you want to know how to print off friends list pm me ok .......
