Yes I know I have done this before and yes I know it isn't exactly "How To" but I don't care. I like the people who frequent this forum.

So I have opened a Yahoo chat room under Adult, User Rooms, titled Literotica Bar and Grill.

Hope it shows up! Stop in and say hello.

Thats why I suggested we set up a chat room in IRC, its a lot easier to find a room in IRC than it is to find one in yahoo. :)

There're also no damnable Yahoo! operated spam bots in Irc either.

Then again, if you're more familiar with Yahoo, then it might be easier to simply open a conference in messenger, post your hosting it in here along with your screen name and ask if folk want to join, and if so message you.

Just went looking and couldn't find it....perhaps everyone else has gone to sleep...

Well as usual it was just one problem after another. Either folks couldn't find the room or Yahoo kept crashing.

Bob, I have no idea how to even get started with IRC.

Yahoo has a problem with new rooms, as they seem to go corrupted when they empty. Then voice disappears, and it is no longer possible to use the room for voice chat :(

If you want to make a permanent room on yahoo, you have to make it in a Yahoo group. That way you have the room there all the time, and if it empties you have to go in through IE to activate voice with it.

Yahoo is hard to handle at times... :(

Now thats a thought, a yahoo group, although the board section is sorta redundant.

I still like the IRC idea better, but most people don't have an IRC client. Getting a room setup is pretty easy, so is downloading an IRC client program. The whole issue is simply this, would enough people get the software they need and use the room to warrant going through the trouble of asking for a permanent IRC room?
