Nice town, though.

How about this: Paul Davies and his entire family dies in a tragic accident, and all the news stories on the subject are about how this might alter the election. Poor guy. Only "A Prairie Home Companion" gave him any respect. When I go out, I hope Click and Clack aren't my best eulogizers-

I guess if you like a populace that are uptight, snotty, feel they are much better then everyone else, and can't drive for shit...then ya, it's a great town.:D They do have a great JC Penny outlet store. Fruit cake is from hell itself.

That is my whole point..can't people wait 'till Thanksgiving for a tree lighting? I think Christmas decorations were out the first of Oct.

I'll give you that the populace can't drive.

But there's a redhaired girl who works, or worked, dunno if she's still there, at the grocery store near Tippins off of Mission, that's hot as all hell.

I am south...(way south) of OP, so I don't really know where things are. Mayhaps you should send the redhead some flowers. We girls just love flowers:D

I worked in the best mall last year, no Christmas music until after Thanksgiving and the decorations were so tasteful, they were barely noticable. This was one of those malls whose business never slowed down, they didn't need the hype.

This year, different mall. Still no music, but the decorations are due to go up in two weeks.

I don't live there anymore, I'm just remembering. Plus, she was like 16 and I'm 23. If not for the stinking law...

Thats good. I am glad to hear that some places don't do this kind of thing. You would think that the malls would get a clue and relize that TWO months of Christmas is tooooo much for anyone.
