I prefer to be alone in bed. Nearly always. Snuggling is okay for a little while, but I like to sprawl in my own bed when it comes to sleeping. If I ever end up in a relationship where I'm living with someone again, I will stipulate that we each have our own rooms, and then share a special room for the purpose of cuddling or fucking. Of course, cuddling or fucking will be allowable in other areas of the house too...

When I'm tired, I want to sleep. I put too much effort into cuddling, and it often turns into something else. And that is the last thing I want when I am exhausted.

To share or not to share

I personally love to share the bed with my girlfriend. However, having said that, every now and then when she is away, it is so nice to have the whole bed to myself and not have to worry about the other person. little bit harder on the sex life though when she is not there.

I love to cuddle up (and agree with superlittlegirl that it can often lead to more), but at the end of the night when we really want to go to sleep, we usually separate in the bed and just touch each other lightly somewhere (like with a hand or a foot) - just for the feeling of touch.

I HATE sleeping alone in bed.

In fact I put off going to bed for as long as I can. I shared my bed with someone for 30yrs, but have slept alone for the last 11 months. I'm still not used to it... I NEVER want to get used to it.

I NEED someone to share my bed with me. Any takers??

Sometimes I actually can't sleep because I'm alone. I get teased about how many pillows I have on my bed, but they're really there so I can pile them up on the other side of the bed and make my subconscious mind believe there's someone on that side of the bed. Then I can sleep. I know it's strange, but you do what you gotta do. It is NOT a pretty sight to see ME with no sleep!

Yep... agree with you there.

I keep alot of pillows in the bed with me so that I can cuddle with them throughout the night. Soon as the situation changes, the pillows will gladly be replaced.

We used to have 2 doubles pushed together, but finally got a king. It's big enough to each have a side, if needed. We spent many years "alone together" in that bad.

But now that we're "back together again," it's nice to be able to just stretch my foot out and tuck it under his leg. Sometimes I rub his butt til I go to sleep - kind of like that silky blankie edge thing I used to do...

I have always slept better with someone than alone. I remember what a revelation this was when I had first moved in with my ex-fiancee. All through growing up, college, living alone I would toss and turn, have to read LOTS, etc to get to sleep...

For some reason I can sleep so well with someone there with me. As for snuggling, sometimes I can't get close enough, sometimes I need to have some space to get comfortable...and I think that's true for everyone...but either way I sleep SOO much better with someone.

I also perfer to have my bed to myself. I am not saying I don't enjoy the times my man sleeps with me but since I am so used to sleeping alone I like stretching out on my bed.

Besdies my man tends to steal the blankets & he also carries over to my side - to the point where he has me on the edge of the bed... and last time he was sleeping on my hair .. so there I was pushing him off & waking his ass so I could move away from him. He found it amusing ...

So as you can see I love my man ... but then I also love my bed to myself.
