Princess Ivy stepped out of Castle Roogna, resting her hands against the growing vines surrounding the outer walls and smiling as the flowers began to bud. "Poor thing... Mother's been neglecting you, hasn't she?," she asked softly, using her talent to enhance the blooms.
Yoohoo, toots! She's been neglectin' me, too! Those green panties are the first silk ones I've seen in weeks! What's a bridge gotta do to get some royal tail crossin' it?!" A gruff voice snickered below her.
Ivy yelped, then slammed her heel down against the planks. "Father's been spending far too much time out here! Hush, you mouthy wood!" That was the one problem with having King Dor for a parent- his talent of having inanimate objects speak seemed to linger on the items for far too long. Pretty much everything in the castle had some wise comment to make anymore... Or was tattling on her. She hated that.
"OooOoh, stomp me, sweety! I love 'em rough! Keep it up and I'm gonna get splinters!"
"Ugh!!" Ivy stormed across the bridge, walking through the orchards before the castle and heading for the main path before the castle. She figured a walk about the kingdom would help relieve her mind from such a terrible day.. Already she had gotten into a fight with a vase, a painting, and her brother Dolph. If that brat would just stop turning into a cat and peeking in her room, things would be so much easier...
