Mutant Power: Psychokinetic Teleportation- The ability to see an object and teleport it from one place to another instantaneously with a flash of silvery light and can also teleport herself but no other people at least not so far.

Setting: After M Day and the X-Men have reformed and regrouped. Professor X is away on business and has left the school with orders of a new recruit showing up today. It is noon exactly as those responsible for recruitment wait outside the door for the girl to arrive when the area got cold a moment and those waiting for the recruit to show suddenly could see their breath in front of their faces and looking around Bobby was no where to be seen so they knew it was not him, then in a silver flash of light the cab holding her appeared in front of the school's entrance and there was no driver. The very young and beautiful woman stepped out of the cab with her bags and slams the door as the cab vanishes with same silver flash of light.

"Dang it I did it again I have to get a handle on that"

She walked over and knocked on the massive door to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters then nervously called out to whomever might reply

"Hello? My name is Seleste and I had an appointment for enrollment?"

Gambit heard a knock on the door. It was lucky he had been walking by otherwise no one would have heard it. He wondered why the person had not actually used the doorbell. That activated a chime in nearly every room in the mansion plus a view screen. He walked over to the door and opened it.

Outside stood a cute young girl that he had never seen before. Somehow she had gotten past the schools defenses and was able to knock on the door. She was either a mutant or just really lucky.
"Well hello cher. What is a beautiful girl like yourself doin knocking on our door.?"

She smiled softly as she looked him up and down

"So you are the welcome committee hmmm I guess it could have been worse"

She walked inside slowly taking in the magnificence of the mansion

"You certainly have a nice house sir"

She set her bags down and turned to him

"I have an appointment for enrollment homme"

She paused

"You called me cher so that means you are French yes? but with the broken dialect I would say Acadian also known as Cajun oh sorry I am nervous and when I get nervous I ramble okay then this is me shutting up"

A look of embarrassment appears on her beautiful young face

He smiled at the young lady and let her ramble on. It was cute to see her get so nervous. It was also fun to have a new and good looking student at the school.

"Dat's alright Cher. Ol Gambit no mind your ramblin tongue none. Why you no come in and we sort dis here problem here out."

He took her into the kitchen where he had been headed in the first place and sat here down at the large table. "Can I git ya all anyting ta drink mon amie? I am afraid der professor has left fer a little while and has plum forgotten ta tell us all about ya alls arrival, but I will be glad to show a sweet honetchile like you around. First dough i will need to know your name."

She loved this guy's accent and was slightly annoyed that he had not revealed his actual name but she understood keeping secrets better than any one

"My name is Seleste and if you could show me to my room please I am a little tired"

She picked her bags back up and motioned with her head for him to move

"We can deal with the pleasantries when I wake up from a nap"

Gambit shook his head a little. "Non Non Cher ya see dat be a leetle problem. Wit da prof away how we know ya all who ya claim to be. Don't ya fret none bout it though. Ya sit down and rest a spell and ol Remy will git dis sorted."

Gambit walked over to the console and pressed the button for Jeans locator. Lucky she was in her office and her face came on the screen seconds later. "Remy how can I help you?"
"Jean Darl'n, we have a new student the Prof forget ta mention here. She wants a room and all she a might tired but I need somebody to yay or nay dat. Did Baldy say anyting to you before he leave?"
Jean rolled her eyes but quickly scanned her computer. "Got her Remy. If she is a young looking Mutant calling herself Seleste with blondish hair that would be her."
"Dat's de one Darl'n. Guess ya be gett'n a new student teach. I will give her a room and she is goin nighty night. I will tell her to meet us for dinner tonight."

Gambit walked back to where Seleste had been waiting and performed his best aristocratic bow, swirling his long trench coat and all."A thousand pardons my'lady but I had to check thy credentials," he began in a flawless English accent, "If you will follow me." He picked up her bags and headed upstairs.
"Welcome to De x-mansion chile. I guess if de Prof invited ya you be one of his gifted chilren. My name be Remy Lebou, but most know me as Gambit. You will meet evryone else at dinner tonight cher."
He opened a door into a reasonably sized room comparable to a dorm room at college. "You be lucky.Dis room was vacant so it's just you in here. Batroom down da hall. Towels in da closet. Ya can git some rest now but be down for dinner at 6 and meet everyone else. Ya know where da kitchen is. Have fun cher see ya at dinner." Gambit closed the door and went on his way.

She took the chance to go to her room and take a well needed nap her power always made her tired but who knows maybe with training that would not be a problem

As she lay there thinking about Gambit and how sexy he was she began letting her hands wander all over her body and making their way to between her thighs before she fell asleep thinking of Monsieur Remy

She awoke in about an hour and found out how wet she was then went in and took a shower then got dressed again in the same clothes as she did not have the time to go "shopping" for more

After getting dressed and getting ready to go to dinner she felt that icy coolness which comes before her power activates and with in an instant a flash of silvery light she appeared in the dining room inches from Gambit surprising everyone even Kurt

"Oh crap I did it again ummmm Hello everyone"

Those eating stopped suddenly at her abrupt appearance

"Where should I sit?"

Gambit who was sitting next to Rogue had no choice but to smell the sensual fragrance of this new recruit as she leaned over and hugged Gambit

"Thank you for earlier you were amazing"

She was of course referring to his help but it sounded much more dirty when she said it the way she did

He had instinctively hugged the girl back then Gambit caught the angry look from Rogue and knew he had just gotten in trouble for something he had not done again. Showing her an innocent look he stood up and pulled out the vacant chair next to him.
"Here chile dis seat have yet to be tak'n. Sit yourself down and I be show'n you round dese folks here."
He handed her a plate and gestured to the table indicating she should serve herself.
"At de moment de Prof be gone but you probably know him. De lady over dere with the white hair and classic ebony skin is his right hand and our own mudder hen Ororo, De two love birds beside her be our power couple Jean and Scott, De gloomy, Hairy little guy is Wolverine, don't be worry'n bout him chile he don really bite, De blue elf is Nightcrawler and de ravishing lady beside me is Rogue. De other students are away wit our resident brain de shaggy blue carpet, beast but dey be returning tomorra."

She smiled softly noticing the connection between the people here and her smile slowly waned as she saw the look of jealousy in Rogue's face and she did not want to be a problem

"Well it is very nice to meet you all I hope I can find my own two feet in all this confusion"

She looked at the amazing meal prepared and she was impressed as she herself was accustomed to five star restaurants and having her own cook prepare what ever she wanted. She was a multiple time over Billionaire but she did not want these people to find that out as she felt a strange sense of contentment for being around these people

"Would you pass the"

A quick flash of silvery light filled the dimly lit room as the pepper shaker was suddenly in her hand

"The pepper please"

She looked at everyone nervously a moment then laughed to distract them

"Ha ha ha never mind apparently it was here by me the whole time"

Her eyes looked over at Gambit and Rogue then over to Scott and Jean and her eyes caught the glare of Ororo's eyes thinking "God everyone here is so beautiful Ororo is so majestically sexy oh God what if one of these people is a telepath? okay okay get a grip change the subject"

"So what do you guys do around here when you are not eating?"

It was Jean who actually answered her.

"At the moment dear we are all on a little break. Each of us helps out training the students here at the school. You of course will be expected to attend classes and earn a college degree in whatever field you wish to study. I am sure the professor has already explained that. We also help you to come to terms with your powers. Yours seem to need a little fine tuning. Don't worry about it. A lot of us had the same problems when the professor found us. That is what this school is for. You will also be taught how to defend yourself with and without your powers. Mainly Logan, Remy and Scott teach those classes, but occasionally Rogue or myself will help. If you seem up to it maybe even Betsy might have a sparing session with you."
"Now don't go scaring the kid Jeany," piped up wolverine/Logan. "Let's see how she goes before we get Bett's involved ok."
The group laughed and seeing her confusion Jean took pity on her. "Betsy is a trained Ninja assassin dear who is also a telepath similar to me. She may take it easy on you but some of her and logans sparring sessions are a sight to behold."

"So tomorrow you will come to my office and we can enroll you in your classes. Be there at eight classes start at nine. There should be a holo map in the draw next to your bed showing you were my office is. After school we will have arranged a trainer for you and we will take it from there. The rest of the night is yours. The rec suite is straight across the hall through the double doors. have fun."

She smirked at that idea

"A ninja assassin? That is awesome can I train with her"

She thought to herself about all the training she did "Hmmm I have studied Aikido, Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, Capoeira, Hapkido, Karate, Krav Maga, 5 Animal Kung Fu, Judo, Jui-Jitsu, Muy Thai, Ninjitsu, Tae Kwon Do, T' ai Chi, Tang Soo Do, Wing Chung, and Wushu God a ninja assassin would be a good test of my skills"

She looked over at Jean and smiled

"Well we would not want me getting hurt now would we?"

She took a sip of her drink

"Some how I do not think I will have a problem in classes so it would be cool to get a refresher course ha ha ha" As she said that Jean got overloaded with the amount of knowledge in Seleste's head it was clearly more knowledge than anyone as young as her should possess

Jean stood up and motioned for Seleste to follow her out of the kitchen. She took the young mutant over to the rec room and looked at her carefully.

"Okay Seleste something is not quite right here. I sensed all the knowledge you possess and the fighting skills. While you may not be on par with wolverine you know a lot more than most and more than someone your age should. So what exactly is your story and the truth, you can't lie to a telepath. Not one as strong as me."

She followed Jean into the rec room and looked at her like she was in trouble and when she heard Jean's words she knew she was busted

"I well I have always had a facility for knowledge anything that I hear or see or read or smell or touch or taste my mind remembers it all I was told I have one hundred percent eidetic memory and it apparently works for my muscles as well as anything I see done I can do"

She dropped into a chair and looked sad

"I am sorry sometimes I can not turn it off my doctor said I am acutely aware and have no filter for it"

A tear streamed down her cheek

"For instance I know you and Scott are an item but I also know he has a thing for Betsy and Logan has a thing for you"

Jean chuckled "That's okay Seleste. Your not telling me anything I don't know. Logan has had a thing for me for years. He is too much of a gentleman to act on it though. He knows I have made my choice and it is Scott. He and I have a very close bond, a bit more than friendship perhaps but that is as far as it goes. As for Scott and Betsy well if you had seen her you would probably understand. She teases him mercilessly and he is a man but I trust him and her. Besides if push came to shove she knows I can beat her in a telekinetic duel."

"As for your ability that is amazing. Maybe I will have you help out in the teaching department. I guess we might have you spar with wolverine. He might be the only one who could show you something new. I swear that man knows fighting moves that haven't been invented and styles from hundreds of years ago. You need to be careful though. Even with your ability you might not keep up with him. He has fought other people with your abilities and he is still here and their not."

"We still need to work on your powers too. Maybe Nightcrawler can help with your teleportation. If you watch him you might get an idea how he controls his. Even talking to him may help."

She was shocked at Jean's words and as to how talented Jean was and she thought to herself "God is Jean cute or what" She smiled as she just thought about it and hoped Jean did not hear that racing thought

"I see and how can I possibly hope to hone this power it responds to surface thoughts faster than I can know it is happening"

She sat in the chair still and frowned slightly

"What kind of power is it any way I can not teleport others just myself or objects I am practically useless unless Monsieur Remy wanted to teach me to be a thief"

She was attempting to distract herself with humor "So when I wake up tomorrow my training will begin yes?"

Jean frowned at her. "Seleste never let me hear you say that again. Nightcrawler does very well teleporting just himself around. As I said you should talk to him, he could teach you a lot about your powers and how to use them in battle. Also your ability to teleport items, imagine if you could get it under control. You could disarm attackers in an instant, rip important parts off of large gadgets, you get the picture."

"Yes you could also be a good thief and sometimes that is what we need. Maybe we will have Remy teach you a few things."

"As for your other ability well we can work on that.If you can learn to recognize what you are feeling when you are learning something you can maybe target the ability instead of it randomly learning everything. Maybe I can help you with that. I will scan your mind and maybe we can find that part that allows you to do this.As for tomorrow well lets say we start of slow and work from there," She smiled.

She panicked a moment and looked a little scared at Jean

"Never say what again? I did not mean to upset you"

She sat there cowered a moment before composing herself and standing up

"I would very much like to learn how to control my power but some old guy named Max Eisenhardt that I played chess with in the park told me to control the power means to suppress it and that that is dangerous"

She saw the smile on Jean's face and was relieved a moment and as she relaxed a bit her eyes flashed silver a moment and she began to sweat a little bit

"I really hope that w..."

A bright flash of silvery light filled the room and in mid sentence without notice Seleste vanished from Jean's sight

She appeared in her room on her bed as she finished the sentence

"e can work this out I want to be hel..."

The room filled with an all too familiar flash of silvery light as she vanished again and reappeared in front of Jean in the same second she left almost as though all that happened was Jean blinked

"Pful to the team as well"

Jean had seen the momentary flash and the brief disappearance of Seleste. She had also felt it with her mind. One moment her mind was in front of her, then in the rooms upstairs, then back in front of her again. It had been a bit of an unnerving experience for her and left her slightly dizzy.

"Well we will have to get a handle on that won't we. However I did get a feeling of how your power works. Every time you concentrate on something you really want you seem to activate it somehow. That's the part we have to learn how to get you to control. The activation part. If we can find out what actually triggers it you will be able to go anywhere you want I guess or however the limitation on your power works."

She stood up and gave Jean a big hug feeling contentment for the first time in her life a chance to control what started in the operating room the day of her birth. She hugged tightly her breasts pressed against Jean's not in a sexual way just a warm hug.

"Thank you so much I really want to get a handle of this power I know I can use it to help others I just have to find the on switch I mean after all you can't get off if you never get on"

She wiped a solitary tear from her face the tear not clear as tears should be but more like transparent mercury.

"I think I am going to go to my room I am very tired"

As soon as she began walking the room filled with that flash of silvery light and she was gone from view as Jean sensed her new recruit in her room laying on her bed.

Jean walked back over to the kitchen. Everyone was still eating so she motioned for both Kurt and Logan to join her in the other room. She described the situation and both the men grinned a little.
'So the Liebchen is having de problem with her teleporting ya?" Kurt said quietly, slipping back into his native tongue a bit while thinking. " I agree that having her watch me den may be a good thing."
"I'm with the Elf," Logan shrugged. "It's been too long since I have had anyone to really spar with in this place. Betsy has been too busy lately and we really haven't even fought anyone half decent. I will give her a shot and see what she's got."

Jean smiled. Looked like Seleste had her day planned for tomorrow. She planned on being there too. If she could be studying her mind while she worked out perhaps she could help Seleste figure out how to control her powers.

She woke the next morning excited about this new learning process and she did what she does every morning... She got on the floor and did one hundred sit ups and then fifty squat thrusts followed by one hundred push ups before heading down to the kitchen area for breakfast.

She took her omelet and toast with a glass of orange juice over and sat by herself in the far corner of the room and enjoyed a well made breakfast.

After finishing her food she washed her own dishes and put them away then went out into the courtyard and began doing Parkour around the area with skill and dexterity that was almost on par with Nightcrawler jumping from table to balcony and vaulting over rails doing a triple front flip and landing on a ledge by the fountain that was a mere four inches in width.

She saw a young girl wearing shorts a pink shirt a bright yellow jacket and sunglasses watching her (Jubilee) and smiled "Hello there sorry about that sweetie I get bored easily and I have so much energy to burn off"

Jubilee smiled. "Oh I know all about energy," she said and allowed a few fireworks to go off above her head. "I guess until you got here I was the resident energy kid. I have to release some of these every now and then or I just burst and Wolvy is always holding me back from rushing in. He's always telling me it's too dangerous and I will just get myself hurt. Pfft I have been looking after myself for ages what does he know anyway."

She bounded over and held her hand out."Oh sorry should have introduced myself. The names Jubilee. Welcome to the mansion. Guess you got here when we were all out huh. Well you will meet the rest of us students at school. Speaking of which we better hurry and get to or we will get extra homework and that really sux." Jubilee bounded off towards the mansion and looking over her shoulder yelled "Cmon follow me."

"That was oh Wow that was impressive I wish I could do that I would be a hit at parties"

She lightly touched Jubilee's hand as they shook hands and smiled

"It is great to meet you Jubilee and I would never let ol Wolvy tell you that because you will never prove yourself to them or yourself unless you get out there and see what you are made of"

She gave Jubilee a hug and loved the happy free nature of the girl with a hint of an attitude

She watched her run off and call back to her as she ran after her

"Coming"

She followed the girl into the mansion to see what new experiences awaited her

Jubilee led the new girl into te mansion and passed the stairs to a small room. Tapping a small hidden keypad revealed an elevator door which swiftly opened and she pulled her in. Pushing the button for the 3rd floor down the elevator fell with surprising speed and they were there in seconds. She pulled her down a hallway towards a large room.
"Guess you have to see the principle first huh. That's Jean Grey. Don't worry she is a really nice woman and will get you sorted out. Well I have to run or I will be late. I will see you in class really soon. Bye now." With that she ran off down the corridor and disappeared around a corner.

A few seconds later Jean opened her door and poked her head out. "Oh I thought I sensed Jubilee out here as well. I guess you met our regular little bundle of fireworks. Come in then Nightcrawler is inside already and he will be taking you for your first period today."
