This is thread set in the times when X-men such as Beast, Collosus, Jubilee are two old to keep fighting the good fight and are replaced by the new and final generation of X-men, those they had taught in Next gen.

The year is 2020, and the Xavier mansion is now part of the Xavier initiative, where schools for mutants are opened up throughout the world.

The X-men are now a United Nations run organisation and act as the worlds foremost peacekeepers and protectors.

This thread is about the leading team of X-men, X2. the members of which consist of several original members of the X2 Team, and consist of the likes of Onyxx and Cyclops II and Sunflare.

Bio:

Name: Sam holts

age: around 29 or so.

codename: Sandmaster

Jobs: He has been a construction worker, computer designer and sometimes programer, and an arcitect. He has a minor degree in accounting, but didn't get very far in it. He has designed computers that can be worn about the body, and some for the blind or otherwise impared. He also designes them for the mutants. He makes a fortune .

Ability: Can attract, condense, and manipulate sand to do his will. He is able to attract metal as well as condense the sand into an metalic form, which is nearly as stong as steal. He can also take himself appart at an atomic level and remain sentient and survive it. That means he can restucture his body if damaged, and is near immortal while in atom mode. He has learned to use metal to build things on the fly.

Apearence: His eyes are dull blue, but when he uses his power they become white, with lines of sand. He is usally wearing a muscle shirt- he has nice muscles, wich ill tell about in the history- a pair of knee high(or so) shorts, and a cap on his head. No fake hair. He appears to be around 23 or so, and is good looking, but stressed.

Personality: He is hardworking, intelegent, realigious, and responsible. He does not like to get angry, but is fairly good at arguing. He has matured.

History- Iceman found him while visiting his community. He was there to give the people of the desert water to drink, as they were very dehydrated. Sam was part of the community, but was blamed for the drought because of strange abilitys, and not allowed to drink. He had a breakdown and killed everyone there, including his parents, but Iceman survived. He adopted the kid, and has regreted that for some time. The kid has no hair, as it all died when he was young. His realigion requires him to wear a cap, so Iceman just gave him fake hair to show from under it. He got strong working in the desert, and enjoys to work hard. He is very intelegent and has skipped grades in school because he works so hard. His eager attitude and annoying persistance to get Iceman to work harder annoys Iceman, but he puts up with it. For the last 13 years he has brought a better future to the desert, and has set up a school for the mutants there. There are more mutants then you would think. He has gotten a few jobs and works to fund the schools as well as keep up their public appearence. He also trains in the desert when he can. He is happy to join once again with the team.

Gear: He wears pouches of sand around his body incase he needs acess to it quickly, as well as having a container shaped like a traveling pack full of it on his back. He likes to use the sand for weight training, besides just for his power. He has a small computer on his rist that stores design blueprints, and other knowledge that can come in handy to him. It has a personality that makes it easy for anyone to use, but it does have passcodes. He has rubber shoes and padding so he can comfortably lift himself with his sand.(padding and shoes contain the sand). Forge designed his gear, though he has tweaked it to fit his personality.

so for example, beast would now be 54 (but who cares he's not playable) and Onyxx would be 31.

I think i'm gonna have Onyxx for my main char.

Name: Kayla Sorenson
Call Sign: Sunflare
Age: 32
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 125 pounds.
Eye Color: Golden with no visible pupil.
Hair Color: Blonde. Short and bushy.
Status: An active member of X-2 and the Xavier Initiative
Powers: Microwave Manipulation. Flight. Teleportation. Heat blasts. Heat shielding. Intangibility, able to hack computers by touch, Slightly enhanced Physicality(Peak Human athlete), Independence from atmosphere, and Immunity to Microwave radiation.
Skills: Computers (hacking primarily), Gymnastics background, Singing, Plays Guitar (Electric. She had been in a garage band prior to her Powers manifesting.), A Masters degree in Electronic Engineering with a minor in software design, and a black belt in Aikido.
Background: Kayla was a normal girl living a dream life that coming from money brought to her. She had taught herself to use computers and under her father's urging took voice and music lessons. Her father, a well known rock musician could afford to pay for the best. In her teens she became a member of a local garage band in an attempt to follow in Dad's footsteps. She'd never really known her mother, who dumped her onto Dad in a scandalous paternity suit. She lived the rock and roll lifestyle through out her childhood. Everything had always been in excess with a notable difference for Kayla. She had never smoked or drank or did drugs. Until the first accident happened. At a band practice she got into an arguement with a band mate and in her anger her powers flared for the first time. The entire building had burned down in minutes. The fire department hadn't even arrived when Kayla staggered out of the fading blaze. She told her father about what happened and he used his wealth and fame to cover her prescence there up.

But he wasn't going to let her get away scott free. He'd heard of the Xavier school's reopening and immediately made a huge donation to Dr. Mc Coy and enrolled Kayla in the school.

Father's last gift to his daughter is her costume. It comes from Stark Enterprises and it helps her contain her powers until such a time that she can fully control them on her own. It is based off of the technology used to help an old ally of Iron Man's, Sunturion, contain his own microwave capabilities. She has her powers contained to the point that she only has to wear a containment collar even though she still wears a modified version of her original costume with the additions of red metalic sleeves and leggings as well as a cloak that she wears as a tribute to an older heroine, Storm. It is a round cape that attatches at the wrists and neck with a hood. The cloak is red with yellow trim.

When X2 graduated and time went by she continued to serve with the team, taking a brief period of time from the team just recently to aid both Stark Enterprises and Roxxon with their orbital space platforms, which had been slowly breaking down and were becoming a crash hazard. She was married for a short time to the son of the scientist that had created her containment suits but the relationship faltered and died when her husband Marcus had decided he wanted children. She isn't bitter about the relationship's ending but she has sworn off of men for the time being.

Skills: Survival
History: Born Sidney Green, Onyxx was passed from various foster homes and orphanages, unable to find acceptance because of his crude behaviour and chronic bedwetting. However, the latter was cured when young Sidney mutated into the huge rock-like form he now possesses, much to his delight.
Soon after developing his powers he enrolled in the Xavier College under the tutelage of Hank McCoy, and quickly joined the team X-2. He played a part in the Zombie attack that fell upon the school and made several friends.
Not long after that he mutated even further, and hating his new form, he left the college, thinking wrongly that his friends would no longer accept him.
Since then he has been a man of the wild, becoming one with nature and reducing his contact with humanity more and more.
Occasionally spotted and mistaken for Bigfoot, among other things, Onyxx spends the majority of his time hunched over, meditating.
Recently his powers manifested once more, granting him the ability to revert back ot a human state for short times, an ability he now rarely uses.
Powers: Onyxx now looks like an almost giant rock statue, except craggier with lichen and moss growing over him, as well as several diamonds granting him superhuman strength and complete invulnerability. Recently he has discovered that he can revert to a normal human form, though he never uses this power.
Appearance: Onyxx now looks like an almost giant rock statue, except craggier with lichen and moss growing over him, as well as several diamonds covering him like hair.
When in human form, he resembles a well built, yet dirty Caucasian man, with a long grey beard and greyish hair.
