Mutant Power: Psychokinetic Teleportation- The ability to see an object and teleport it from one place to another instantaneously with a flash of silvery light and can also teleport herself but no other people at least not so far.

Setting: After M Day and the X-Men have reformed and regrouped. Professor X is away on business and has left the school with orders of a new recruit showing up today. It is noon exactly as those responsible for recruitment wait outside the door for the girl to arrive when the area got cold a moment and those waiting for the recruit to show suddenly could see their breath in front of their faces and looking around Bobby was no where to be seen so they knew it was not him, then in a silver flash of light the cab holding her appeared in front of the school's entrance and there was no driver. The very young and beautiful woman stepped out of the cab with her bags and slams the door as the cab vanishes with same silver flash of light.

"Dang it I did it again I have to get a handle on that"

She walked over and knocked on the massive door to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters then nervously called out to whomever might reply

"Hello? My name is Seleste and I had an appointment for enrollment?"

Brown orbs scanned over the file that was handed over to her by the professor before he left, each page was much like the others she has thumbed through nothing but a bunch of facts and assessments based on observations and trials. A sigh escaped over the lightly glossed lips of Storm as she lowered the file to the desk top. Her gaze slowly rose from where she laid the file to the small clock that rested off to the right corner of her desk. It was almost time for the new recruit to arrive.

Slowly she rose, straightened her low cut sweater. Ran her fingers through her hair and proceeded to walk out of her classroom. She stopped in the hallway for a moment, watching the students making their way to their assigned classes. Her gaze fell upon Logan, he was carry a bag and dressed as if he was going somewhere. “Hey, what’s up?” She asked when he came into her range.

“The professor wanted me to check on a few things while he was gone. Are you going to be stuck here?” he looked a little tense.

“Yeah, I have a new recruit coming in today. Why? Are you expecting trouble?” that was a foolish question for anytime Logan went out there was a good chance of trouble.

“You know me!” He smiled making his way past her.

“Logan, Call if you need help.” Storm, holding a serious face, she smiled when he nodded. She sighed, now slightly worried about Logan, she made her way to the inner bailey to the school to where this Seleste was to report too.

She looked down at her watch when all of a sudden the air got cold and in a flash a taxi was in the drive and a very attractive young lady stepped out and as fast as it appeared the taxi was gone in the same flash of light.

Storm turned her head toward the door where the knock came. Storm already was a little perturbed for in her welcome package it stated no use of mutant powers outside of the school. She slightly shook her head but smiled at the same time. Kids will be kids.

Storm opened the door with a cold stare now on her face. “Seleste.” Storm greeted her with that cold stare. “I believe you were informed not to you your powers outside of the school. So I ask you what did you just do?” Storm didn’t wait for a response she stepped to the side and gestured for Seleste to step in.

“Come, I will show you your room. There you will pack your things nice and neat. You will then join the rest of us for lunch in the dinning hall.” Storm closed the door and walked forward showing her the dinning hall since it was here on the first floor. “Here you will come when you get done storing your personal items.” Storm then gestured toward the massive stairwell. “This way.” she walked ahead of Seleste with a huge smile on her face. She loved being hardcore now and then it was fun!

She made a few turns, long walk, turn, up a short flight of stairs, turned, walked a short way. “Here is your room. I will see you down stairs in a half hour. Feel free to walk around and talk with your classmates.” Storm turned and walked away, smiling from ear to ear.. She passed Scott as he was just shaking his head at her..

"Hello there nice to meet you"

She felt that she had done something wrong but was unsure what it was as she walked behind the woman who had just scolded her.

She followed through the halls and observed everything in great detail watching also the interaction of this woman with the other people who she noticed had a great deal of respect for her.

She entered her room and smiled softly at the woman "Thank you I will try to keep myself out of trouble"

She shut the door and fell on the bed kicking her feet in the air squealing in her own mind "Wow this is so exciting and that woman! She is scary but very beautiful" She thought to herself as she sat up and began putting her things away

She changed her clothes to wearing a silver skin tight body suit and exited her room and made her way to the recreation area and went out to the back yard and stretched a few moments before she started running laps on the track set up there and had run about fifteen laps before slowing down a little which showed she had some stamina.

She took a moment and stopped and began doing some jumping jacks then some squat thrusts before heading back to her room to get a shower

Storm walked to the large bay window that overlooked the inner yard of the school. Her mind was occupied with the thoughts of Logan and what he could be doing. Her fingers tapped an unmelodic tune while her mind replayed everything the professor said and there was nothing mentioned to her about having something that needed done while he was gone except keep everyone safe and educated. Her hand brought up the bronze star pendent that hung down between her breast to the middle of her lip where the same off beat tune was tapped out.

Her brown orbs fell upon Seleste, a smile formed as she watched the young lady moving toward the track. A brow arched when she took notice of the extremely tight body suit. “I’m going to have to give her another talking to about modesty I see.” She whispered to herself as she watched impressed by the stamina that Seleste was displaying. Storm swallowed hard when she felt slightly aroused watching how the young lady’s body reacted to the running.

“What am I doing!” Storm mumbled while she pulled away from the window and began walking downstairs, slightly disturbed on her reaction toward the young Seleste. She allowed herself to think back to her younger years, when she was a freshmen in college was the first time she ever had this reaction toward another woman. Shaking her head in an attempt to free her mind of those images while inhaling a deep breathe and releasing it a few moments later. Feeling a little more in control she headed to the dining room for it was almost lunch.

Standing at the door she waited until Seleste came down from her room. “Impressive run, but you might want to think about getting a new body suit.” her voice slightly warmer than before but not by much. She gestured with her head toward the dining table. Storm’s gaze traveled with Seleste as she made her way to her place and took a seat.

“Hey Storm,” greeted Bobby’s voice, “Who’s the new chick! She has some stamina don’t she.” Storm shot him a glare and Bobby raised his hands in a playful defensive stance. “I’m just saying!” Storm dropped her arms and Bobby Backed away with a smile upon his face. Took his seat next to the new chick. “Hello.” He shot a smile toward Storm. “My name is Bobby.”

Storm only shook her head while moving toward the front of the table. She remained standing as the talking subsided. “Afternoon everyone. I just wanted to make an announcement that we have a new member to our school. I would like everyone to greet Seleste Silver a hello, and I ask everyone to make her feel at home.” Storm took her seat, shot a glare down toward Bobby and Seleste.

After the lunch, Storm gave Seleste a few minutes to mingle with other students, Bobby was taking her around introducing her to everyone. That didn’t bother Storm for that just meant that she didn’t have to do it. It was probably better that Bobby did this for they were about the same age. “Seleste, Please come with me. We have a few things that needs to get done.” She wanted to at least get Seleste her physical in before releasing her for the evening.

She looked into Storm's gorgeous eyes and smiled softly as she looked Storm up and down admiring the beauty that stood before her

"Thank you I do not get tired often and I rarely sleep. What is wrong with my body suit it is aerodynamic and helps tone my muscles while I run"

Her smile turned into a frown slowly as she did not mean to upset any one especially Storm as she had respect for her which is hard for her to give. She walked slowly towards her place at the long table and as she walked her eyes flashed from a bright blue to a silvery shade and there was a sudden rush of cold air as her clothing was suddenly a more conservative outfit.

"Hi there Bobby I am Seleste Silver. Wow you are Robert Bobby Drake also known as Ice Man and you are an Omega Level mutant. Your natural ability is the rapid release of and absorption of heat molecules leaving only cold molecules which you can manipulate and project in any way you see fit"

She stood there with Bobby and Storm not even realizing she just used her power openly again as she talked to Bobby or the fact she seemed to know things about him she should not know. The two talked until she heard her name called out.

"Umm hi there I am Seleste and I am happy to be here"

She spoke in a manner that almost sounded rehearsed as she sat down and smiled talking lively to everyone until Storm spoke to here again

"Yes Mrs. Storm or do I call you Ororo Monroe? Or Mrs. Monroe?" Her words stumbled as she just realized Storm never told her what her real name was "Yeah I should just call you Stormy err Storm sorry"

She stood up and smiled saying bye to everyone individually and then walked with Storm inside and whispered to herself as she walked "I wonder where my running suit went"

"So am I in trouble or something I did not mean to to do whatever it is I did. Is it about what I did to Bobby out there? I did not mean to read him it just happens to me some times"

Storm looked at Seleste with an arched brow when she noticed the young lady’s eyes traveling over her body. Storm waited a few moments before moving her arms up and crossing them over her chest. This situation caused her to feel slightly uncomfortable, but there was a lot of things that made storm uncomfortable, but it never shut her down. So she smiled to Seleste as she entered the dinning hall.

When Seleste did an amazing quick change of outfits, storm smiled with approval. She made her way past Bobby and Seleste as they were exchanging words, but when she heard Seleste rattle off things she should not, Storm just eyed her but moved on so that she could introduce Seleste to the rest of the class.

Storm watched Seleste approach her while she waited at the dinning room exit. She smiled at the young recruit but instantly became cold. “Stop that right now. I am impressed with your abilities but what you just did was rude, intrusive, and very dangerous. Why do you think we use call signs? It’s to protect us and the ones we love. If you go around spouting everyone’s information you are putting them and their loved ones in danger.” Storm held up her hand. “I’m sorry. We have a lot of work to do, and you have a lot of information to take in. I will get you our rule book that covers all this that I’m bickering at you for… Again I’m sorry.”

Storm knew how hard it is to control abilities and why she was being so hard on Seleste she had no idea, but contributed the situation of Logan to be the prime reason. She took a deep breath. “Seleste, I would like to start over. There’s a situation that is going on that has me slightly worried about an individual and I’m taking it out on you.” She put her arm around Seleste shoulder, “The reason I called you out was I would like you to get your physical in this evening before I dismiss you for the evening.” She took her to the elevator. “The exam room is down below.” she felt a lot better now. “So, I know what your file says where your from, but can you tell me about home?” she wanted to make Seleste feel welcomed not regretting about being here.

She had the distinct feeling she was in trouble but she also gathered from Storm's tone that she was someone who appreciated a little restraint for various reasons. She stood there with her hands clasped in front of her as Storm walked around her.

"I did not mean to be disrespectful and please give me a chance to work on this"

She sat down and cried softly her tears formed a silver trail of liquid down her cheek resembling mercury which was both intriguing and disturbing to her. She tried to hide her tears from Storm but failed.

"Do I have to get a physical? I mean I that is well I just ummm"

She crossed her legs and tried to smile

"I am not sure where I really come from"

She was saddened that Storm only showed her the elevator and was not going to accompany her as she reached out and touched Storm's hand softly before stepping in and as she let go and the door began to shut the air suddenly became colder and the defense alarm went off as faster than Storm could turn back to look there was a hole where the elevator had been.

Storm's personal communicator chimed as Beast spoke to her

"Ororo it would undoubtedly seem that we have a problem in the medical lab I do suggest you use the stairs the elevator is in the room with me it does also appear to be empty. I did however find a note for you and all it says is I am sorry. Is this possibly about the new recruit?"

Storm looked over at Seleste, a heavy sigh escaped over Storm’s lips. She felt like she pushed to hard and what her brown orbs just witnessed confirmed that she did. She sat down next to Seleste wanting to give her another apology but right now that really would not help the matter. What storm needed to do was give the girl some room to breathe. To show that was welcomed and cared about. She was about to ask if they could start over when Seleste spoke up with a question.

Storm looked at her with those sorrow filled eyes. “I wish I could say no, but we do need to make sure that everything is okay with you for obvious reasons, but also to make sure that everyone else is safe too. It will be okay.” she helped the girl up and resumed walking to the elevator.

Storm looked at her in a quizzical way to what was scaring this young lady about a general physical. She seemed to be hiding something which put a worry to her. She decided to let Jane worry about what was the girl hiding for Storm has already pushed this girl way too much.

Storm noticed the girls sadness when Storm told her that she had some things to get done while she was being check, but would be together once the exam was done. When the doors opens Storm felt the girls hand upon hers than walked into the elevator. She would have to talk with Seleste once she was done with the exam.

She turned around and was going to see Scott about the new recruit when she felt the area get cold, she instantly turned but was too late for she was looking at a hole where the elevator used to be.

“Dam, Yes it does. It seems I have pushed her too hard and she has decided to check out… Hank I will need help with this one. If she comes back.”

Storm went to her room upset. She could only hope that during the night she comes aback. And if she does, she will be treated much differently.

After exactly sixty minutes had gone by the elevator suddenly vanished again and reappeared where it had originated as if nothing had happened. Seleste felt badly about what she had done and thought long and hard about how to speak with Storm when she returned as she was sure she would not be allowed to stay at the mansion after this blatant display of her lack of restraint.

Storm was almost asleep as she lay in bed and she felt a sudden rush of cold air and then heard the whimpers of crying coming from behind her and she also heard Seleste talking as if she did not realize she was in Storm's room.

"I have to go back there and tell Storm how sorry I am she is wonderful and smart and fantastically gorgeous and I think I owe it to her to give her another chance"

She was on her cell phone talking to someone

"How do I tell her I am sorry I could of seriously hurt people this time. I know I didn't but I could have. Wait a second I will call you back."

She wiped her tears as she realized where she was and turned slowly to see Storm laying there as her tears began again and her tears looked like steaks of mercury running down her skin

"Storm I am so so sorry for what happened I did not mean to....."

She fell face first into one of Storm's many pillows

Storm heard talking while she lay in bed; she quickly sat up and looked around only to see Seleste wiping mercury tears from her eyes. Her chest was already pounding when the cold air hit her, and then hearing the young girl’s voice. She was about to ask herself how did she get in here but in her half confused state she forgot about the teleportation. Storm felt a little relieved when she went over in her mind the statement Seleste made about giving her a second change. She would make sure that this chance would not fail for this young girl needed this School’s ability to giver her place in society. Something that we al are fighting for.

Storm eyes went wide when the young girl was talking to her than just fell forward into the pillows. She instantly moved to he girl’s side. “Seleste can you hear me.” She turned the girl over looking into her eyes, while her hand went to her neck and tried to find a pulse, “Seleste!” she hit the com and called for Hank, “I need you in my room quick, something is wrong with Seleste,. Yes she is back just get up here.” Storm bellowed out. Then moving back over to Seleste holding her until Hank gets her.

“I’m sorry Seleste, I should have been more easy on you. It was just a little fun till I took it too far. I just need you to wake up and at least smile to me.” She took Seleste’s hand into hers.

She lay in Storm's arms for about ten minutes as her eyes began to flutter slowly and a small smile formed on her beautiful lips as she saw Storm holding her

"I am so" Her voice weak as a brief pause in her dialog emerged "Sorry Storm I didn't mean to"

Hand leaped into the room with his doctor bag and did a triple front flip landing beside the two of them and immediately began checking Seleste's vitals

"Her pulse is weak and her pupils are dilated respiration is minimal" Hank sounded more concerned than ever Storm had heard as he touched his com badge "Kurt I need you in Ororo's room asap we have a medical emergency"

He placed his hand on Storm's shoulder as Nightcrawler teleported to his side "What shall I do mein freund?" He asked with his overly thick yet some how subtle German accent

"I need you to teleport this girl to the infirmary immediately" He touched his com again "Jean meet me in the infirmary for a critical medical emergency"

"I will go immediately Hank" Kurt said as he put his hand on Seleste and as he tried to teleport he screamed in pain and was thrown across the room into the wall. The room filled with a bright silvery light at the moment he tried to teleport and Hank ran over yelling out "KURT!"

Seleste looked up into Storm's eyes and whispered softly "I am sorry I did not mean to hurt Mister Wagner" Her eyes closed as she seemingly fell asleep

After making sure Kurt was okay he came back over to the two women "Ororo are you okay? Did she say anything that might be indicative of her condition?"

Shhh, “Do not talk. Rest, we can talk later when your better.” Storm whispered to her. She began to brush some to the strands of hair way from her face. She even lightly ran her finger down Seleste’s jawbone. “Things will get better. I have leaned a valuable lesson today and that is always stay nice to people.” She slightly jumped when Hank did his normal flipping into the room. She slightly leaned back when began to examine her.

“She said that she did not mean to hurt Mister Wagner.” Storm looked at Hank, She can some how tell everything about you when she touches you. But that is all she said” Storm pushed herself off the bed. She leaned down and picked the girl up. She was a little heavy but Storm was determined to get her downstairs. Now, Nightcrawler shift us to medical.”

Storm was so worried about what was going one with Seleste now her heart was fluttering with worry. “She was talking to someone on her phone before all this happened maybe we should check it out.” She whispered to Hank as Storm put Seleste down on the medical bed.

Hank handed the cell phone to Forge to see if he could find out what and who the girl had been speaking with with very little success.

"Hank" Forge called him on his communication badge "I am not getting very far on this cell phone it is strange it is as if every file on here is encrypted with a triple rerouting binary code that changes polarity with each key stroke"

"Keep trying my friend we have to discover what is going on in our own house" Hank said in response

Several hours of Dr McCoy getting frustrated more and more trying to figure this girl out had gone by when she finally sat up suddenly on the exam table and called out

"Storm!" She looked around to find Storm as Hank entered the room and spoke to her

"Seleste please calm yourself you have been through an ordeal and need recovery time so as not to agitate the situation into further duress"

She blinked at him a few times and yawned "I understand" She laid back down slowly "Will you have Storm come here please?"

"Of course Seleste just relax and I will get her for you"

He left the room after turning on the surveillance in the room and called Storm with the communications badge "Storm she is awake finally and is requesting your presence please report to examination room C"

He waited ever so patiently as well as eagerly for Storm as she may well be the key to finding out what is happening.

Storm was trying to occupy herself by grading papers and planning a school week that has already been done, but she goes back over it changing a few things here and there when Hank calls for her attention down in the med center. His mind is swirling about all that is going on with this poor girl and she turns and looks at the phone. ‘I will not call him, I can do this .. Just one step at a time.’ she forgot about Hank.. “OH, okay I am on my way.” She just tossed the papers and charts back onto the desk and headed out the door rather quickly.

She cursed how slow the damn elevator was even though it only takes about five to six seconds to get from top to the basement. When the doors opened she was moving down the corridor at a record walking speed. She spun around the corners and steamed on till she was walking into the room where Hank and Seleste was at..

“Is she okay? What’s wrong with her? Can she be treated? Well what is Hank talk to me!” She hammered him not giving my a second to speak..

She moved over to Seleste and took her hand into hers…”WELL!”

He gently placed his large blue and furry hand on Storm's shoulder and smiled softly at her

"It would seem she has stabilized and the whole process was due to an inversion of matter and energy on a sub level of her...."

He paused a moment thinking about how smart Storm is but knowing she would not understand the details

"She is back to one hundred percent and I have figured out a way to prevent this in the future"

He had discovered an ability within himself to "dumb" down his dialog as Jubilee called it in cases like this to avoid awkward misinterpretations

"You may go in and see her if that is your wish"

Storm raised her hand up at Hawk with a Please if you can not speak in lamen's terms. I will pass on the explanation." I just need to know if she is okay and is not in any danger."

She smiled at him and then walked into the room where Seleste was laying on the exam table. She found the girl very mysterious and fascinating that was very appealing and drawing her toward the girl.

She walked over and took Seleste's hand into her own and looked down with caring eyes. "Hey, you had me scared you know that." she whispered to the girl. She reached down and was moving a few strands of hair out of her face when she or some reason rubbed the back of her fingers against Seleste's cheek. "Come back to me.." She whispered ... still touching the girl..

She felt the loving touch of Storm's fingers as she rubber her face in such a way then sat up in her bed quickly after hearing Storm's angelic voice and placing her hand on Storms touching it tenderly

"I am sorry I scared you"

She sat there looking Storm in the eyes and she began to cry softly as streaks of silver streamed down her cheek

"I did not know you were that worried about me" She said with a stammer to her overly sensual voice

She scooted over on the bed making room for Storm to sit or lie next to her

Storm's heart was fluttering with sorrow for the way she treated this young girl. She had no idea that she would take so much to a personal level. She has learned her lesson when greeting new arrivals. the boot camp approach was out the door and a new interview will be conducted from now one.

She jumped when Seleste sat up quickly. She closed her eyes and placed her hand upon her chest just under the larynx. She tapped her chest a few times and smiled at her.. "That was different.." She smile

"No no.. Please do not cry.. It is fine. I was worried that you were severely hurt but Hank thinks he knows what is going on but do not ask him to explain." Storm laughed ...

"Of course I worry about you. your one of us now and part of the family." Storm climbed on the bed and laid down next to the girl... "Do you feel okay, are you feeling any pain?"
