Do you ever think about some of the possibilities that they present being more than just a script. I heard of a while back that a lot of thier episodes are partially based on real unsolved cases. What do you think of the possibilites presented by the show?

I believe the unsolved part - Scully and Mulder have to be the two worst detectives the FBI ever had. They never arrest anyone and normally they get there just after the killing and after the perpetrator has made some nebulous escape.

Truthfully, the show has become pretty awful this year. In the early years, when the show would have real plots other than the alien thing, it was entertaining. But the last couple of years have been mediocre. Give me The Night Stalker anyday.

i hear you that its become stale but maybe now that mulder is gone and they have this new guy they seem to be going back to the old style xfiles that got me addicted the first time around
